An apparatus for attaching a shrinkable label on a product placed on a conveyor, by irradiating light onto the shrinkable label, comprises two sets of light emitters which are arranged opposite each other on both sides of the conveyor along a defined length of the conveyor to form an irradiation volume through which the conveyor passes. The light emitters are configured to emit directed light bundles into the irradiation volume in different directions. In a plan view of the apparatus, the directions of the light bundles intersect with a longitudinal central axis of the conveyor. The intersection points of the directions of the light bundles emitted from the light emitters on a same side of the conveyor with the longitudinal central axis of the conveyor differ from each other.

The present invention relates to a device and a method for manufacturing a bag received in an envelope and containing a brewable material with a bag manufacturing means which is configured to manufacture a bag containing brewable material, and with a sealing station with a sealing jaw element and a counter-jaw element which act on the envelope from opposite sides to seal in the bag. The device is further developed for a reliable and safe manufacture of the packing unit consisting of a bag and an envelope by the sealing jaw element being fixed to a sealing jaw swivel arm at which a sealing jaw connecting rod is applied, and the counter-jaw element being fixed to a counter-jaw swivel arm at which a counter-jaw connecting rod is applied, and by the sealing jaw connecting rod and the counter-jaw connecting rod being each eccentrically connected to a common drive shaft of a servomotor. In the method according to the invention, the contact force between the sealing jaw element and the counter-jaw element is controlled via the torque of the servomotor actuating the sealing jaw element and/or the counter-jaw element.

In order to enable a reduction in the restoring force adapted to the particular material of the package sleeve without increasing the cycle time for the removal and unfolding of the flat-folded package sleeve, the restoring force is reduced by temporarily increasing the internal angle between the package walls at the outer fold edges to more than 90&#xb0; while the upright package sleeve is located on the transport path of the transport device. The reduction of the restoring force can be accomplished during the movement or during a standstill of the package sleeve on the transport path.

The invention relates to a method for the clocked conveying of packaging containers in a filling machine for flowable products along a conveying line with a first and a second section, a first conveying means and a second conveying means being operated at different clock cycles in the first section of the conveying line and in the second section of the conveying line respectively, and a handling device arranged between the first and the second sections of the conveying line compensating for the different clock times between the first and second conveying means. A filling machine includes a plurality of parallel-running conveyor lines, to which packaging jackets are supplied for producing the packaging containers and along which the packaging jackets or the packaging containers produced therefrom are conveyed in a conveying direction. In an apparatus for the production of hollow bodies from thermoplastic material by use of extrusion blow molding, having at least two blow molding units and an extrusion system, in an operating cycle each blow molding unit is movable between a receiving position in which the opened blow molding mold receives a preform and at least one other position in which the expanded hollow body is removed from the blow molding mold. Each blow molding unit is firstly moved from a station remote from the removal station in at least one direction into the removal station and opened after reaching the removal station, whereupon the hollow body previously produced in the blow molding mold is removed. The respective blow molding unit is then moved by use of a second movement in another direction, with the blow molding mold open, into the receiving position which is arranged laterally displaced relative to the path of movement along which the blow molding unit is moved into the removal station.
