A seal arrangement is provided for an opening, in particular a door or window opening of a vehicle body, having a fastening flange delimiting the opening, which is used for fastening a peripheral seal profile part and is formed by at least one vehicle body part, the fastening flange provided with one or more projections arranged around the opening on at least one flange face and the seal profile part having at least one shoulder, which engages behind the projections, for fastening on the fastening flange. A seal profile part is also provided and a method is provided for the production of a seal arrangement. A seal profile part having at least one shoulder is applied to the fastening flange delimiting the opening. The at least one shoulder caused to engage behind one or more projections of the fastening flange to fasten the seal profile part on the fastening flange.

An assembly method and a motor vehicle body having at least one marginal portion delimiting a bodywork opening is provided. The motor vehicle includes a plasma-treated gluing surface to which a seal is fastened in a materially joined manner.

A fastener for components of a motor vehicle includes a tubular rivet, with a rivet head and a shank, wherein the shank has at least two longitudinal slits, between which lugs which can deflect in an elastically rebounding manner. The fastener includes a support bearing with a tubular mounting into which the shank of the rivet for the holding of at least a component between rivet head and support bearing can be inserted. Corresponding engagement elements are formed on the outer circumference of the shank and on the inner circumference of the mounting which, in a fixing position of the rivet in the mounting are engaged so that the rivet is held against slipping out of the mounting. The fastener includes a pin which can be inserted in the tubular rivet and which in a securing position in the rivet blocks a deflection of the lugs so that disengagement of the engagement elements is prevented.
