A crop discharge device for discharging crop from a harvesting machine, comprising a rotatatable rotor mounted in a housing having a movable a bottom. The bottom can be put into a reciprocating motion in order to convey the crop to be discharged to the crop discharge device. Chaff from a cleaning shoe is directed by an oscillating bottom to the bottom. The discharge device may comprise a straw chopper which discharges chaff and straw from the harvesting machine in the chopping mode.

An axial separator of an agricultural combine comprises a rotor housed in a housing. The housing includes a lower separating grate and a top cover plate with spiral-shaped guide vanes, which are aligned to feed harvested crop on a helical path. A section of one of the guide vanes forms an acute angle with the housing as it extends outwardly therefrom.

An on-board computer system for a work vehicle having an actuator. The computer system comprises an electronic control unit that is connected to and controls the actuator, a display unit and an input unit. The display unit displays operating parameters of the work vehicle. Through the input unit the operator inputs operating parameters of the work vehicle. The control unit transmits control signals to the actuator and can be operated selectively in a first operating mode and in a second operating mode. In the first operating mode the control unit displays a greater number of operating parameters that can be changed by the input unit than in the second operating mode.

The crop engaging element of the present invention is a hollow structure having a smooth curved convex top portion which terminates in a concave trough before extending into a radially extending lip. The hollow structure is provided with sidewalls and a rear wall. The sidewalls extend upwardly to enclose the sides of the trough. The element is provided with leading and trailing mounting flanges for mounting the element to the exterior surface of a combine rotor.

The infeed axis is parallel to and in line with the rotor axis. The threshing axis is parallel to and offset from the rotor axis. The threshing axis is offset above and downstream from the rotor axis. The separating axis is parallel to and offset from the rotor axis. The separating axis is offset above and downstream from the rotor axis. The separating axis is more offset from the rotor axis than the threshing axis is offset from the rotor axis.
