An apparatus for synchronizing a telescopic ram in a hydraulic elevator in which two or more pistons and a cylinder are simultaneously extended from and retracted into a foot portion mounted at the bottom of an elevator shaft includes a connecting cable which is fixed on one end to the shaft wall and on the other to one of the pistons and the cylinder and is deflected over a roller used for the synchronization. The connecting cable is a sheathed synthetic fiber cable.

Apparatus for synchronization of telescopic rams in hydraulic elevators

A drive system for a hydraulic elevator installation (1) without a machine room including an electric motor (15), a hydraulic pump (16), an oil tank (17), valves (18) and a control apparatus (19) mounted in a cabinet (10). The cabinet (10) can be mounted in direct connection with an elevator shaft (2), for example near a shaft door (6), or at any desired location, preferably in the proximity of traffic routes, in work areas or even in passageways, where good accessibility is guaranteed. A double sound insulation of the cabinet (10) and of the oil tank (17) containing the electric motor (15) and the hydraulic pump (16) damps the noise level of the drive system to the extent that the cabinet (10) can be placed at virtually any desired location without the noise developed by the drive system being disturbing in surrounding spaces.

Process and apparatus for controlling a hydraulic lift wherein with this process, a direct approach to a floor can be achieved without requiring a creeping velocity drive, whereby the car is controlled in a position-dependent manner during the deceleration phase, for the purpose of which a control region is formed which is subdivided into percentage values, the percentage values being retained in tabular form with reference to measured actual position values and upon input of a specific actual position value, the corresponding percentage value is multiplied with the value of the control region (CS) and to this product eventually are added a control deviation (CO) and a pilot control signal (SO) wherein the sum which constitutes the actual control signal used during the deceleration phase, is forwarded to a regulation valve arrangement. An apparatus for carrying out the process is also set forth.
