A hydraulic control apparatus for a transmission includes a line pressure regulating device that enables control in which an oil pressure from an oil pump is regulated so as to attain a line pressure, and that enables control in which the line pressure is switched stepwise between a low pressure state in a lower pressure range and a high pressure state in a higher pressure range; a plurality of hydraulic servos that engage and disengage friction engaging elements using engagement pressures that are based on the line pressure; and a high pressure state detecting device that detects that the line pressure regulating device is outputting the line pressure in the high pressure state.

Hydraulic control apparatus of transmission

A control apparatus of a hybrid vehicle having a first drive unit, a second drive unit, a HV battery, a shift control element, a battery state detection element, and a shifting-time drive control element. Furthermore, in the control apparatus, a battery balance control element is formed by an engine control element, a first motor control element, a second motor control element and the shifting-time drive control element. If the shift control element determines there is a need for shifting carried out by a stepped transmission, the battery balance control element calculates the amount of increase/decrease in the amount of charge of the HV battery in accordance with the state of the HV battery, and changes the engine operation point on the basis of the calculated amount of increase/decrease in the battery charge, prior to the shifting.

Control apparatus of hybrid vehicle

A hybrid drive unit includes a hybrid mechanism having at least one electric motor and a transfer that distributes driving force to front and rear wheels. The electric motor and the transfer are housed in a tubular shaped transmission case that extends in the front and rear directions of a vehicle. The hybrid drive unit is mounted on and supported by a second attachment coupled to an internal combustion engine and provided at a front end of the hybrid drive unit and a first attachment portion fixed to a vehicle body. The electric motor and the transfer that are heavy structural members of the hybrid drive unit are positioned separately to the front and rear of the first attachment portion that forms a boundary. By adopting this configuration, it is possible to reduce the amount of engine vibration that is transmitted to the vehicle body through the first attachment portion.

A control unit for a vehicle including a controller that determines whether shifting of a stepped transmission is necessary, and increases output torque of a first drive unit and decreases output torque of a second drive unit in correspondence with an increase of the output torque of the first drive unit, the increase and the decrease being performed prior to shifting of the stepped transmission when a determination is made that shifting is necessary.

Apparatus for controlling hybrid vehicle

A drive unit for a vehicle structured so as to be able to attain an interrupting state of inertia of a drive motor under a predetermined condition. Therefore, the drive unit for a vehicle has a drive motor able to transmit driving force to a drive wheel, and an operation lever for selecting a shift range for switching the drive motor between drive and non-drive. Further, the drive unit for a vehicle has a control section having a shift position detector for detecting the shift range selected by the operation lever. The drive unit for a vehicle also has brakes for attaining a neutral state by interrupting the power transmission between the drive motor and the drive wheel when the selection of a parking range is detected by the shift position detector.

Drive unit for vehicle

A failsafe hydraulic circuit designed to avoid simultaneous engagement of two friction engagement elements (e.g., clutches, brakes, etc.) incorporated in a speed change apparatus of a motor vehicle or the like. If a first failsafe valve is in the open position state and a first engaging pressure is supplied to a first hydraulic servo via the first failsafe valve, the first engaging pressure is also input to a first oil pressure switch via a second failsafe valve being in the closed position state. Therefore, using the first oil pressure switch, it can be detected that the first engaging pressure is supplied to the first hydraulic servo. Furthermore, if the first engaging pressure is, for example, greater than the set pressure of the first oil pressure switch, this situation can also be detected. Such detections provide confirmation of normal operation of the first failsafe valve and the second failsafe valve.

Failsafe hydraulic circuit

The drive unit for a vehicle has an engine driving control element for driving a first motor on the basis of an engine driving signal, and driving a second motor so as to restrain a reaction force in a power distributing planetary gear due to the driving of the first motor in a state in which the stepped speed change gear connects the second motor and an output shaft by brakes. Further, the drive unit has an electrically operated oil pump for generating an operating oil pressure of the brakes, and also has a control section having an electrically operated oil pump operation control element for operating the electrically operated oil pump prior to the control of the engine driving control element on the basis of an engine starting signal outputted in a vehicle stopped state.

A control system for a hybrid vehicle that is capable of absorbing an inertial force which is generated during shifting of a stepped transmission. During shift control of the stepped transmission by a shift control device and before the shift control is completed, a during-shift drive control element controls a driving force which is output from a second drive unit such that a total driving force which is output from first and second drive units to the drive wheels equals a driver request output. Further, the during-shift drive control elements executes control so as to reduce a difference between the total driving force output to a drive wheel and the driver request output based on a change in a transmission force of the stepped transmission caused by a switch-over between a first brake and a second brake. Moreover, in an inertial phase of the switch-over between the first brake and the second brake, the during-shift drive control means controls a driving force of a second motor so as to absorb an inertial force which is generated by change in a rotational speed of the second motor with respect to the rotational speed of the drive wheel.
