A sheet conveying system includes: an upstream apparatus provided on an upstream side in a conveyance direction of a paper sheet; a downstream apparatus provided on a downstream side of the upstream apparatus; an upstream conveyor that conveys the paper sheet; an upstream driver that drives the upstream conveyor; a downstream conveyor that receives the paper sheet conveyed from the upstream conveyor, and conveys the paper sheet received from the upstream conveyor; a downstream driver that drives the downstream conveyor; an upstream controller that is connected to the upstream and downstream drivers; and a downstream controller that is connected to the downstream and upstream drivers, wherein the sheet conveying system switches control on the basis of sheet information between first control in which the upstream controller controls the upstream and downstream drivers and second control in which the downstream controller controls the downstream and upstream drivers.

Sheet conveying system and image forming system

An image forming system includes: an image forming apparatus that forms an image on a sheet; one or more sheet carrying devices successively disposed on the downstream side of the image forming apparatus; and a control device that controls the image forming apparatus and the one or more sheet carrying devices based on a job that designates a page configuration containing a page order and sheet types, wherein the sheet carrying device includes a bypass conveyance path along which the sheet output from an upstream device is conveyed toward a downstream device, and a sheet tray unit that temporarily stores the sheet output from the upstream device and discharges the sheet toward the bypass conveyance path, and the control device divides the job into sheet types and determines a printing order of the divided sheet types and sheet types to be stored in the sheet carrying device.

Image forming system

A fixing apparatus included in an image forming apparatus includes a fixing heater that performs heat fixing, a control unit that controls the fixing heater based on control patterns, a temperature sensor that detects temperature of the fixing heater, and a voltage detection unit that detects a voltage that is applied to the fixing heater. In each control pattern, turn-on period of the fixing heater and turn-off period of the fixing heater are set according to a control cycle of a half cycle duty control. The control unit controls the switching unit to turn on or off the fixing heater using a combination of the control patterns each satisfying a standard for preventing a flicker during each control period of time that is integral multiplication of the control cycle according to the temperature of the fixing heater and the voltage value allied to the fixing heater.

A paper feed apparatus is capable of correcting the skew of a sheet irrespective of a differential conveyance distance. The paper feed apparatus is provided with a first large volume paper feed apparatusA having a control unitwhich performs first correction control to correct the skew of a sheet by controlling a first conveyance unitand forming a loop of the sheet P before a paper stop rollers, and also performs second correction control to correct the skew of a sheet by controlling a second conveyance unitand forming a loop of the sheet before a paper stop rollers. In this case, the control unitcontrols the first conveyance unitand the second conveyance unitin order that the skew correcting ability of the second correction control becomes greater than the skew correcting ability of the first correction control.

Paper feed apparatus and image forming system

When conveying an envelope, a posture of the envelope is corrected by hitting a closed portion of the envelope, which is opposite side of an opened portion of the envelope, against a nip portion between upper and lower rollers of the pre-registration rollers and the envelope is then conveyed with the envelope being nipped by the upper and lower rollers of the pre-registration rollers. The upper and lower rollers of the pre-registration rollers nip the envelope to remove air from the envelope. When setting an envelope mode to control a conveying speed of the envelope based on a coverage rate of an image to be formed on the envelope, the conveying speed of the envelope is controlled by adjusting a rotation speed of the registration rollers based on the coverage rate of the set envelope mode.
