A method for making a recombinant gene includes searching a database using a nucleotide sequence of a coding region, a nucleotide sequence that encodes an amino acid sequence, or an amino acid sequence, of a gene, for one or more nucleotide sequences having homology; selecting one or more nucleotide sequences other than nucleotide sequences only derived from a genome from the selected nucleotide sequences; for ones of the selected one or more nucleotide sequences comprising an upstream or downstream nucleotide sequence, analyzing whether the upstream or downstream nucleotide sequence is a functional sequence to select one or more first functional sequences; for ones of the selected one or more nucleotide sequences comprising no upstream or downstream nucleotide sequence, analyzing whether a gene information has any description indicating a functional sequence to select one or more second functional sequences; scoring the selected functional sequences; and selecting one or more functional sequences.

Functional sequence selection method and functional sequence selection system

An information processing apparatus and an information processing method capable of accurately recognizing an object to be sensed are provided. One or a plurality of learning models are selected from among learning models corresponding to a plurality of categories, a priority of each of the selected learning models is set, observation data obtained by sequentially compounding pieces of sensor data applied from a sensor is analyzed using the learning model and the priority of the learning model, a setting of sensing at a next cycle is selected based on an analysis result, predetermined control processing is executed in such a manner that the sensor performs sensing at the selected setting of sensing, and the learning model corresponding to the category estimated as the category to which a current object to be sensed belongs with a highest probability is selected based on the categories to each of which the previously recognized object to be sensed belongs.

Information processing apparatus and information processing method

To generate a prediction image in which an outline of an object is clear and existence of the object is easily recognized, the image prediction system that generates a future prediction image and includes a gaze unit, a working memory unit, a control unit, and a generation model unit. The gaze unit controls a region including an object included in an observation image as a first gaze region. The working memory unit controls the first gaze region as a second gaze region when a difference in the first gaze region between the observation image and a prediction image is equal to or less than a predetermined value. The generation model unit generates prediction images of the first gaze region and the second gaze region. The control unit integrates the prediction image of the first gaze region and the prediction image of the second gaze region to generate a prediction image.

Image prediction system

A retail agent determines a parameter of an activity proposal model by using data stored in a past record database, and determines parameters of an activity determination model and an activity value evaluation model by further using base activity simulation data. Consequently, it is possible to appropriately determine parameters of a subsystem control method in a complex system which cannot be embodied as a simulator and shows a significant change with respect to past record data.

Learning management system and learning management method

According to one embodiment, a machine control system includes: a selecting unit which acquires a state quantity of a machine converted from data acquired by a sensor provided in the machine to select two or more learning models according to the acquired state quantity; a composing unit which inputs the state quantity acquired by the selecting unit to each of the two or more learning models selected by the selecting unit to calculate a composed value using a command value output from each of the learning models; and a learning unit which outputs a command value with respect to the machine in a range based on the composed value calculated by the composing unit, acquires a state quantity of the machine, searches for a command value of a specific condition from a combination of the output command value and the acquired state quantity, and outputs the searched command value to the machine, thereby creating a new learning model.

Machine control system

A learning control system is provided in each of a plurality of subsystems of a system and includes a plurality of agents that performs learning to control of the subsystem using a control model and a learning management agent that manages and controls learning of each of the plurality of agents. The learning management agent is operated with a plurality of experiment systems including the plurality of control model sets of the plurality of agents and determines a plurality of updating control model sets in the plurality of experiment systems of a next generation from an evaluation result of the plurality of experiment systems of the current generation. The agent transmits control model information of a current generation to the learning management agent and receives control model information of the next generation from the learning management agent.

A manipulator device has an arm portion and a hand portion The hand portion includes one or more finger portions that manipulate a target object. Each finger portion includes a slip sensor and multiple contact sensors, with at least one contact sensor at a position proximate to the slip sensor and at least another contact sensor at a position remote from the slip sensor. When the contact sensors at the positions remote from the slip sensor detect contact of the target object and the contact sensors arranged at the positions proximate to the slip sensors do not detect contact, a position of the finger portion is moved by a distance corresponding to the distance between the contact sensors detecting contact of the target object and the contact sensors arranged at the positions proximate to the slip such that a detecting position of the slip sensor is coincident with a position of the target object.

Manipulator device

It has been difficult to carry out a test and an analysis with respect to combinational logic circuits mounted across plural chips, and therefore, there is provided a flip-flop () by use of which either of a scan chain within a semiconductor chip (LSI_B), and a scan chain across plural semiconductor chips (LSI_A and LSI_B) can be made up.

Semiconductor device, and test method for same

In a test method of stacked LSIs connected by Through Silicon Vias, it is difficult to perform a failure diagnosis by using a conventional device test method to only one side of a silicon wafer, there is a possibility of yield degradation at a stacking time of LSIs, and a plurality of LSIs is connected to one Through Silicon Via so that it is necessary to select and remedy a defective Through Silicon Via taking into account all the device states. These problems cannot be solved by conventional test methods. Therefore, for a device test of a Through Silicon Via through a plurality of chips, a circuit that generates a time-series test pattern having both 0 and 1 values for a delay fault test is added to a circuit portion that transmits data to a Through Silicon Via in the stacked LSIs, and a circuit that receives the test pattern and compares the pattern received with a fixed pattern for a match to detect a defect of a Through Silicon Via is added to a circuit portion that receives data from a Through Silicon Via in the stacked LSIs.

Semiconductor device

A highly flexible semiconductor device of a stacked-type semiconductor device which transfers information by inductive coupling between inductors, in which LSI chips can be stacked even when a transmitter circuit and a receiver circuit are arranged at different positions from each other when viewed in a stacking direction. The semiconductor device has an interposer including a first inductor which is inductively coupled with a transmitter circuit of a first LSI chip to be stacked, and a second inductor which is inductively coupled with a receiver circuit of a second LSI chip to be stacked, the first inductor and the second inductor being electrically connected. An interchip communication is made from the first LSI chip to the second LSI chip.

In a semiconductor device in which a plurality of memory LSIs and a plurality of processor LSIs are stacked, as the number of stacked layers increase, the communication distance of data between a memory LSI and a processor LSI will increase. Therefore, the parasitic capacitance and parasitic resistance of the wiring used for the communication increase and, as a result of which, the power and speed performance of the entire system will be degraded. At least two or more of the combinations of a processor LSIand a memory LSIare stacked and the processor LSIand the memory LSIin the same combination are stacked adjacent to each other in the vertical direction. Communication between the processor LSIand the memory LSIin the same combination is performed by a dedicated electrode provided therebetween, and communication between processor LSIsand communication from the processor LSIto the outside are performed by a through silicon via for signalwhich passes through all the LSIs.
