Provided is a vinyl chloride resin composition having superior heat resistance, colorability and processability without using a heavy metal stabilizer such as lead. The present invention relates to a vinyl chloride resin composition which comprises, in addition to a vinyl chloride resin, (a) an organic acid calcium salt, (b) an organic acid zinc salt, (c) an organic acid potassium salt and (d) a polymer of alkyl ester of Cto Cacrylic acid or methacrylic acid, the polymer having a number average molecular weight of 1,000 to 4,000. Further, the present invention relates to a vinyl chloride resin composition which comprises, with respect to 100 parts by mass of the vinyl chloride resin, 0.01 to 5 parts by mass of the aforementioned component (a), 0.01 to 5 parts by mass of the aforementioned component (b), 0.001 to 1 parts by mass of the aforementioned component (c) and 0.05 to 10 parts by mass of the aforementioned component (d).

A vinyl chloride based resin composition for a vehicle, which comprises 100 parts by mass of a vinyl chloride based resin, and 5 to 200 parts by mass of a plasticizer component consisting of (a) at least one trimellitate based plasticizer and (b) at least one sebacate based plasticizer in a mass ratio [(a) component/(b) component] of 99/1 to 60/40. The resin composition is excellent in thermal stability, the resistance to thermal aging, the resistance to a low temperature and the resistance to fogging, and further is excellent in the formability such as gelling property, the easiness in the release from a mold, and the property of staining a mold, and thus is suitable for use in powder molding.

A polyester plasticizer which is obtained by reacting a diol component (a) consisting of 100 parts by mole of 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol, 10 to 1000 parts by mole of 3-methyl-1,5-pentanediol and 0 to 1000 parts by mole of other aliphatic diol with an organic dicarboxylic acid components (b) consisting of 100 parts by mole of adipic acid and 0 to 100 parts by mole of other organic dicarboxylic acid and a chain terminator (c) consisting of a monovalent aliphatic alcohol or a monovalent aliphatic organic acid and which has an average molecular weight of 500 to 5000. This plasticizer is excellent in plasticizing efficiency and can impart excellent oil resistance to synthetic resins such as chlorine-containing resins.
