An aqueous fluoroelastomer curable composition including two liquids of a main material fluoroelastomer aqueous dispersion (I) and a fluoroelastomer-curing agent aqueous solution (II), wherein the above main material fluoroelastomer aqueous dispersion (I) is an aqueous dispersion having a pH of 6.5 to 8.5, comprising a fluoroelastomer (A), a dispersant (B), an acid acceptor (C) and a salt (D) composed of an acid with a pKa of 3 to 7 and a base with a pKa of 8 to 12, and the above fluoroelastomer-curing agent aqueous solution (II) is an aqueous solution including a fluoroelastomer-curing agent.

Water-based fluororubber composition for vulcanization and coated article

An aqueous fluoroelastomer curable composition comprising an aqueous fluoroelastomer dispersion and a basic polyol curing agent, and an article having a coating film formed from this composition. The aqueous fluoroelastomer curable composition has a long pot life although it is a one-fluid type aqueous dispersion, and forms a cured film having sufficient strength and heat resistance at a relatively low temperature in a short time.

Water-based vulcanizable fluororubber composition and coated article

In an aqueous curing composition of a fluoroelastomer comprising a fluoroelastomer, a curing agent and a surfactant, a surfactant with which an amount of decomposition residues is 0.3% by weight or less after being baked at 300&deg; C. for 30 minutes, for example, a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether or a polyoxyethylenepolyoxypropylene block polymer, is used as a surfactant. Such a composition can make use of the inherent characteristics of the fluoroelastomer.

Water-based composition for fluororubber vulcanization and article coated with fluororubber

An aqueous curing composition of a fluoroelastomer containing a fluoroelastomer, a fluororesin, a curing agent, which further contains a surfactant which leaves 0.3 wt. % or less of a decomposition residue after being heated at 300&deg; C. for 30 minutes and/or a polar solvent having a boiling point of 300&deg; C. or less and a surface tension of at least 30 dyne/cm at room temperature. When a coating film is formed from this aqueous composition, a large amount of the fluororesin contained therein can be bled up on the surface of the coating film. Thus, the durability and non-tackiness of the coating film can be improved.

Aqueous curing composition of fluoroelastomer and article coated with fluoroelastomer

An aqueous coating composition comprising a fluororubber and, as an acid acceptor, at least one inorganic composite compound, for example, an inorganic composite oxide or an inorganic composite salt, in particular, an inorganic composite compound containing magnesium such as a hydrotalcite. Such an inorganic composite compound is not agglomerated to form secondary particles, when it is dispersed to primary particles, and can maintain the storage stability of the aqueous coating composition of a fluororubber.

Water-based fluororubber coating composition

A coating composition of a fluororubber containing a fluorine-containing elastomeric copolymer which has repeating units of the formula: &mdash;CH,&mdash; in the backbone, a polyol curing agent, and a salt or a complex compound of a basic compound having a pKa of at least 8 and an organic acid as a curing accelerator. This composition is a one-pack type composition having a long pot life, and can provide a cured coating in a short time at a relatively low temperature. Furthermore, this composition can be applied by dispenser type coating or screen printing, even when the concentration of the fluorine-containing copolymer is high.
