An ischemic cardiopathy diagnosis assistance system includes pressure data acquisition meansfor acquiring pressure data including proximal pressure Pa in a proximal stenotic segment Aand distal pressure Pd in a distal stenotic segment A; intracoronary electrocardiogram data acquisition meansfor acquiring intracoronary electrocardiogram data made up of a local intracoronary artery electrocardiogram in a neighborhood of the distal stenotic segment; and computational processing meansfor finding a pressure ratio Pa/Pd between the proximal pressure Pa and distal pressure Pd at a time suitable for diagnosis of ischemic cardiopathy based on these data. The computational processing means temporally associates the pressure data with the intracoronary electrocardiogram data, estimates an analysis period T during which vascular resistance remains stably low from a waveform of the intracoronary electrocardiogram data, and extract the pressure data of the analysis period T, and finds the pressure ratio Pa/Pd from the pressure data.

Ischemic cardiopathy diagnosis assistance system

The present invention suppresses the strength reduction or degeneration of a tissue after the tissue is dried and/or sterilized, for the tissue comprising biological components and the like. Specifically, biological tissue is immersed in a trehalose solution and shaken, thereby impregnating the biological tissue with the trehalose solution. The trehalose solution used here is one obtained by dissolving trehalose in a phosphate buffered saline, the concentration of trehalose being preferably in the range of 20 wt % to 35 wt %. Thereafter, the biological tissue is dried to remove moisture in the biological tissue, and sterilized with ethylene oxide gas.

A system () for forming and maintaining a biological tissue by which a biological tissue can be artificially formed by culturing cells, which comprises a pulse pump (), a circulation pathway () having such a circuit structure as allowing a liquid cell culture medium discharged from the pulse pump () to return into the pulse pump (), and a cell culture section (A) and a gas exchange section (B) provided along the circulation pathway (). Disclosed is a method whereby a narrowed part similar to an actual lesioned blood vessel can be easily obtained. A mold () comprises first and second molded members () having inner spaces () passing through in the axial direction and an axial member () detachably inserted through the individual inner spaces () of the individual molded members (). The molded members () have tapered front parts () respectively. In the state of facing the front ends () of the tapered front parts () to each other and thus forming a concave (), the axial member () is attached. A first material () made of a mixed material comprising calcium carbonate or the like and silicone or the like is applied to the concave (). A second material () such as silicone is applied to the entire outer periphery of the mold (). After hardening the materials (), the mold () is withdrawn by detaching the axial member () and dividing the concave (). Thus, a simulated blood vessel () having a simulated narrowed part of the blood vessel caused by calcification can be obtained.

It is intended to provide an endurance test apparatus whereby the behaviors of a vessel caused by a biomechanical burden can be simulated using a relatively simple constitution so that the endurance of a medical instrument (for example, a stent or an artificial vessel after anastomosis) can be tested in a similar state to an actual vessel, and an endurance test method therefor. Namely, an endurance test apparatus () comprises a simulated vessel () made of an elastic body, first and second holding members () respectively supporting the both ends in the axial direction of the simulated vessel () and making the both ends relatively rotatable and interval-adjustable, and first and second motors () operating these holding members (). The simulated vessel () is supported by the first and second holding members () in a state stretched from its inherent length under a tensile force. Due to the driving motors (), the holding members () elongate and contract the simulated vessel (), which is in the stretched state as described above, while twisting it.

Endurance test apparatus for medical instrument and endurance test method

In the transplant of a living organism tissue, such as a heart valve, taken from an animal, etc. into a human body, a cell removing solution for removing original cells from the living organism tissue is provided with flow approximately equal to the bloodstream of transplant recipient living body, and the living organism tissue is placed in the flow so as to effect immersion of the living organism tissue in the cell removing solution. In the immersion, it is preferred that the living organism tissue placed in the cell removing solution, while being rotated, be irradiated with microwave. As a result, original cells can be removed from the living organism tissue uniformly and reliably, so that the biocompatibility of living organism tissue after transplant can be enhanced.
