A submersible motor electric wire includes a conductor including a copper wire and an enamel coating formed on the periphery of the copper wire, and an insulating sheath layer formed outside the conductor. The insulating sheath layer includes a silane graft polymer as a main constituent. The silane graft polymer is formed by a graft-polymerization that an unsaturated silane compound and an organic peroxide are added to polyethylene, and is cross-linked contacting with water in the presence of a siloxane condensation catalyst. Alternatively, the insulating sheath layer includes a composition including polyethylene as a main constituent, and the composition is cross-linked by being irradiated with an ionizing radiation.

Submersible motor electric wire

There is provided an insulated wire including a wire conductor and an insulation coating formed on the wire conductor by extrusion coating a resin composition. The resin composition is a mixture of a polyphenylene sulfide-based resin (A) and a polyamide-based resin (B), in which a ratio of parts by mass of the resin (B) to that of the resin (A), i.e. (B)/(A), is not less than 5/95 and not more than 30/70.

There is provided an insulated wire having an insulation film composed of a plurality of layers provided on a conductor, in which: the insulation film includes a first film layer and a second film layer; the first film layer is made of a first resin composition formed by graft-polymerizing a graft compound with an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer and is provided on a circumference of the conductor; and the second film layer is made of a second resin composition being a polymer alloy made of a polyphenylene sulfide resin and a polyamide resin, or being a polymer alloy made of a polyether ether ketone resin and a polyamide resin and is provided on a circumference of the first film layer.

An electric wire with coating of polyvinyl chloride family resin composition is disclosed which has a coating layer containing a polyvinyl chloride family resin composition comprising polyvinyl chloride family resin and one or more compounds selected from calcium soap, zinc soap and hydrotalcite. The polyvinyl chloride composition does not comprise either or both of a lead compound and a &#x3b2;-diketone compound having a melting point less than 100&#xb0; C. A plasticizer can be further added to the composition so as to obtain a heat-stable vinyl chloride composition. A cable covered with the polyvinyl chloride family resin composition is also disclosed, including a cable having electric wires coated with the polyvinyl chloride family resin composition.

Electric wire and cable with coating/covering of polyvinyl chloride family resin composition

An electric wire with coating of polyvinyl chloride family resin composition is characterized by having a coating layer including polyvinyl chloride family composition obtained from adding more than one of any calcium soap, zinc soap and hydrotalcite to resin including polyvinyl chloride resin as a main constituent, and further adding thereto plasticizer so as to obtain a heat-stable vinyl chloride composition, and further adding thereto as stabilization auxiliaries high-melting-point &#x3b2;-diketone compound having a melting point more than 100&#xb0; C. out of &#x3b2;-diketone compounds expressed by a general formula of R.CO.CH2.CO.R'.

Electric wire coated with polyvinyl chloride resin composition and cable

A enameled wire having 100 parts by weight of a polyamide-imide resin, 1 to 5 parts by weight of a lubricant, 1 to 200 parts by weight of a masking agent-stabilized isocyanate, and 1 to 30 parts by weight of a silane coupling agent are dissolved or dispersed in a solvent to prepare a coating composition. The coating composition is then coated directly or through other insulator on the circumference of a conductor, and the coating is then baked to form a lubricating layer.

Self-lubricating enameled wire

Disclosed are a strippable semiconductive resin composition adapted for formation of a semiconductive layer having a volume resistivity of not more than 5000 &OHgr;&middot;cm at room temperature, the composition comprising: a polymer component (a), with a number average molecular weight of not less than 3&times;10,or a weight average molecular weight of not less than 3&times;10,and a melting point of 60 to 80&deg; C., composed mainly of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, or a polymer component (b) composed mainly of 99 to 50 parts by weight of the ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer and 1 to 50 parts by weight of a polyolefin having a melting point of 120&deg; C. or above; and conductive carbon black compounded with the polymer component (a) or (b), and a wire and cable comprising the strippable semiconductive resin composition as an outer semiconductive layer. By virtue of this construction, an outer semiconductive layer can be formed which is excellent in adhesion to an insulator crosslinked by silane grafting/water crosslinking, as well as in strippability.

Strippable semiconductive resin composition and wire and cable

In an unshielded twisted pair cable, a predetermined number of pairs which are twisted by a predetermined lay-length are covered by a protective sheath. Insulations for insulating conductors for the pairs and the protective sheath are wholly or partially of halogen free polymer having a low dielectric loss tangent and flame-retarding properties. The insulations have a dielectric loss tangent of less than 1.times.10.sup.-2 at 150 MHz and a 2% modulus of at least 0.3 kgf/mm.sup.2.

Unshielded twisted pair cable

A bow-tie tree resistant electrical insulating composition comprises 100 parts by weight of at least one polymer selected from polyolefins and ethylene copolymers, 0.005-1.0 part by weight of a metal salt of a fatty acid containing a hydroxyl group in the molecule, and 0.005-1.0 part by weight of a fatty acid or a derivative thereof.

Wire on cable coated with a bow-tie tree resistant electrical insulating

An easily peelable semiconductive resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer-based component, 1 to 20 parts by weight of waxy aliphatic hydrocarbon, and 50 parts by weight or more of furnace carbon black having an arithmetic means particle size of 25 to 40 m.mu., iodine adsorption of 4 to 60 mg/g, and DBP oil absorption (by JIS A method) of 120 to 150 ml/100 g.

Easily peelable semiconductive resin composition

A semiconductive resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a polymer component comprising an ethylene-based copolymer, an ethylene-propylene rubber, and a low molecular weight polyethylene having an average molecular weight of 1,000 to 4,000 and 40 parts by weight or more of electroconductive carbon black.
