A rolling bearing apparatus includes: a bearing including an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements, and a cage; and an oil supply unit provided axially adjacent to the bearing. The oil supply unit includes: a tank in which to accumulate lubricant; and a pump provided with a nozzle that emits the lubricant as an oil droplet toward a target of the bearing. The oil supply unit further includes a wind guard covering a passing region of the oil droplet thus emitted from the nozzle and having an opening toward a target side. An inner region of the wind guard, including the passing region, has a passage shape causing an airflow from a nozzle-side toward the opening on the target side where a negative pressure is caused due to a bearing rotation.

Rolling bearing apparatus

A bearing apparatus includes a bearing portion having an outer ring, an inner ring, a plurality of balls interposed between the outer ring and the inner ring, and a cage that holds the balls, and a lubrication unit provided adjacently to the bearing portion in an axial direction thereof to feed lubricant to a lubrication area that needs to be lubricated. The lubrication unit has a tank that stores the lubricant, and a pump that ejects the lubricant toward the lubrication area. The pump has an ejection port that is open toward the lubrication area and through which the lubricant is ejected at a predetermined initial velocity in the form of a 0.5 to 1,000 picoliter oil droplet.

Bearing apparatus and lubrication unit

A rolling bearing apparatus includes: a bearing including an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of balls, and a cage; and an oil supply unit provided axially adjacent to the bearing. The oil supply unit includes a tank in which to accumulate lubricant, and a pump that receives the lubricant in the tank and supplies the lubricant to the bearing. The tank is provided with a holding material for the lubricant, the holding material having minute pores. The holding material includes a first holding portion provided in a region on an outlet-side of the tank, and a second holding portion provided in a part other than the region and having a porosity higher than that of the first holding portion.

A rolling bearing device includes: a bearing part having an inner ring, an outer ring, and balls; and an oil supply unit provided adjacent to an annular space between the inner ring and the outer ring and capable of supplying lubricating oil to the annular space. The bearing part has an annular cage provided in the annular space. The cage has a pair of annular parts and a plurality of bars. An outer circumferential surface of the annular part located on a first axial side has a contact portion capable of coming in contact with a part of an inner circumferential surface of the outer ring. A radially outer surface of the cage has, with the contact portion being a top, a first inclined surface provided from the top toward the first axial side and a second inclined surface provided from the top toward a second axial side.

Rolling bearing device

A rolling bearing apparatus includes: a bearing portion having an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of balls, and a cage; and a lubrication unit that is provided adjacently to an annular space formed between the inner ring and the outer ring and that has a pump that feeds a lubricant into the annular space. The pump has a main body portion having an internal space in which the lubricant is retained and being open at one end of the main body portion, a metal diaphragm fixed to a fixation portion that is a part of the main body portion so as to close the opening of the main body portion, and a piezoelectric element fixed to the diaphragm. At least the fixation portion of the main body portion is formed of metal, and the fixation portion and the diaphragm are fixed together by metal joining.

A rolling bearing apparatus includes a bearing portion having an outer ring, an inner ring, a plurality of balls, and a cage that holds the balls, and an auxiliary portion provided adjacently to the bearing portion in an axial direction. The auxiliary portion has an auxiliary body portion provided adjacently to the outer ring in the axial direction and an extension portion extending in the axial direction from the auxiliary body portion and interposed between the cage and the inner ring. In the extension portion, a channel is formed that penetrates the extension portion in a direction inclined with respect to a radial direction. The channel is open in an outer peripheral surface of the extension portion, which faces the cage, and in an inner peripheral surface of the extension portion, which faces the inner ring.

A lubrication unit in a rolling bearing apparatus includes a pump that supplies a lubricant to an annular space formed between an inner ring and an outer ring, and is provided adjacently to the annular space. The pump includes a needle-like nozzle having, at a tip thereof, a discharge port through which the lubricant is discharged toward an outer ring raceway groove in an outer ring. A tip of the nozzle is in contact with a shoulder portion inner peripheral surface adjacent to the outer ring raceway groove or is provided close to the shoulder portion inner peripheral surface such that a very small gap is formed between the tip and the shoulder portion inner peripheral surface.

Rolling bearing apparatus and lubrication unit

A rolling bearing unit includes: a rolling bearing; a grease reservoir in which grease is reserved; an outer ring spacer disposed adjacent to an outer ring of the rolling bearing; and a bellows-shaped grease medium that connects a second side wall that defines the grease reservoir on the outer ring spacer side, to a step portion of the outer ring. The grease medium is disposed so as to be impregnated with a base oil contained in the grease.

By incorporating a pump for sucking and discharging lubricating oil in a tank for storing the lubricating oil on an outside of a rolling bearing, for example, on a spacer for an outer ring in a housing for accommodating the rolling bearing and a nozzle in which an lubricating oil outlet communicating with a discharging port of the pump to supply the lubricating oil discharged from the pump to the rolling bearing is opened in an annular-shaped space between a fixed ring and a rolling ring in the rolling bearing, a cost is reduced by using a general-purpose rolling bearing, and at the same time, external devices and pipes for a lubrication are not required wholly or partially and problems of a noise made by compressed air are eliminated.

Rolling bearing device and spindle

In a rolling bearing including an oil supply unit for supplying lubricating oil stored in a tank by a pump via a nozzle which is made to open in an annular space defined between an inner ring and an outer ring, the nozzle is made to open in a space between an inner circumferential surface of a case and the inner ring, and the inner circumferential surface of the cage is formed into a surface in which an inside diameter of the cage is reduced gradually in a continuous or intermittent fashion from an axial center portion towards at least an end portion lying on a side where the nozzle is inserted, whereby a lubricating oil dropped on to the inner circumferential surface of the cage is caused to flow towards the axial center portion by virtue of centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the cage, so as to prevent the lubricating oil from flowing out to the outside of the bearing unit.

Rolling bearing device and rotary apparatus

A one-way clutch includes an outer race, wherein a plurality of windows are formed in one plate-like member, is placed so as to be relatively rotatable with respect to an inner race wherein two plate-like members overlay each other and a ball raceway surface is formed by curved portions formed in outer peripheries of the plate-like members. Balls are accommodated in the windows. The face of each of the windows on the side of the outer periphery of the outer race is formed as a cam surface wherein the distance with respect to the ball raceway surface is reduced in a circumferential direction. Urging means for urging the balls in the direction is disposed. The maximum width of the one-way clutch is equal to the ball diameter and the thicknesses of the two plate-like members constituting the inner race, so that a one-way clutch of a reduced width is obtained.

One way clutch

A rolling bearing composed of a combination of bearing wings formed with a steel material and rolling elements formed with a ceramic material, wherein the residual austenite amount of the steel material forming the rolling rings is controlled to a specific value. By the construction, at rolling of the rolling elements formed with a relatively hard ceramic material, the occurrence of the surface scratches of the rolling elements can be restrained, which results in restraining the vibrations and noises caused by the rolling bearing.
