A steam turbine provided with: a rotor; a plurality of movable blades each of which has a movable blade body and a shroud, and which are circumferentially arranged at intervals; a casing that has a recessed section for accommodating the shroud; fins that form clearances from the outer circumferential surface of the shroud; a stator blade support part disposed on the downstream side of the recessed section; a plurality of stator blades circumferentially arranged at intervals; and an annular partition plate that extends from a recessed section downstream surface toward the upstream side thereof. The casing has formed therein a bypass flow passage that communicates a region radially outside of the partition plate and a region between the stator blades.

Axial flow turbine

A rotating machine includes a rotating body rotatably supported in a casing; a rotor blade fixed to an outer peripheral portion of the rotating body; a stator blade arranged on a downstream side in a fluid flow direction with respect to the rotor blade and fixed to an inner peripheral portion of the casing; a sealing device arranged between the inner peripheral portion and a front end of the rotor blade; a swirling flow generation chamber provided in the casing on the downstream side from the sealing device along a circumferential direction of the rotating body; and guiding members provided in the swirling flow generation chamber along a radial direction of the rotating body and in the circumferential direction at predetermined intervals. The swirling flow generation chamber has a wall surface located on the downstream side from an edge of the stator blade on an upstream side.

Rotating machine

A rotating machine includes a casing having a hollow shape; a rotator rotatably supported in the casing; a stator blade fixed to an inner peripheral portion of the casing; a rotor blade fixed to an outer peripheral portion of the rotator while being displaced from the stator blade in an axial direction of the rotator; a sealing device disposed between the inner peripheral portion of the casing and a tip of the rotor blade; a swirling flow generation chamber provided along a circumferential direction of the rotator on a downstream side of the sealing device in the casing in a fluid flow direction; and guiding members provided at predetermined intervals in the swirling flow generation chamber in the circumferential direction of the rotator. The guiding members each include a first guiding surface that is inclined in the circumferential direction with respect to the axial direction of the rotator.

A sealing fin fixing apparatus can fix a sealing fin to a rotor in a shortened period of time to minimize variations of the pullout strength of the sealing fin. In the sealing fin fixing apparatus that fixes the sealing fin in a sealing groove defined in the outer circumference of the rotor of a rotary machine and includes a headstock for setting a rotor thereon, a Z-stage movable along a Z-axis, an X-stage movable along an X-axis, a tool rest supported on the X-stage, and a caulking tool mounted on the tool rest and including a shank and a pressing roller, while the pressing roller is being held against a caulking wire inserted, together with the sealing fin, in the sealing groove in the rotor that is set on the headstock, the headstock is actuated to rotate the rotor, thereby caulking the caulking wire to fix the sealing fin to the rotor.

Sealing fin fixing apparatus and sealing fin fixing method

A rotating machine includes a hollow casing; a rotating body rotatably supported in the casing; a stator blade fixed to an inner peripheral portion of the casing; a rotor blade fixed to an outer peripheral portion of the rotating body to be offset to the stator blade in an axial direction of the rotating body; a sealing device arranged between the inner peripheral portion and a tip of the rotor blade; a swirling flow generation chamber provided in the casing on a downstream side in a fluid flow direction from the sealing device along a circumferential direction of the rotating body; first guiding members provided in the swirling flow generation chamber along a radial direction and in a circumferential direction of the rotating body at predetermined intervals; and a second guiding member provided in the chamber along the circumferential direction while intersecting the first guiding members.

An axial flow turbine that can enhance an effect of reducing a mixing loss is disclosed. The axial flow turbine includes a plurality of stator blades provided on the inner circumferential side of a diaphragm outer ring; a plurality of rotor blades provided on the outer circumferential side of a rotor; a shroud provided on the outer circumferential side of the plurality of rotor blades; an annular groove portion formed in the diaphragm outer ring and housing the shroud therein; a clearance passage defined between the groove portion and the shroud, into which a portion of working fluid flows from the downstream side of the stator blades in a main passage; seal fins provided in the clearance passage; a circulation flow generating chamber defined on the downstream side of the clearance passage; and a plurality of shielding plates secured to the diaphragm outer ring.

An electrode and a lead wire therefor used with a device for measuring the electrical signals emanating from a living body, such as a cardiograph or electroencephalograph employed for examination and diagnostic purposes. The electrode consists of two layers of finely divided electrically conductive material, that are printed in laminated fashion on the opposite surfaces of an insulating film. The lead wire comprises plural laminated layers of finely divided electrically conductive material on the opposite sides of an insulating film, the laminated layers being interspersed with or encased by carbon layers and insulating layers. Since X-rays penetrate the electrode and the lead wire, an X-ray photograph may be taken during visual inspection of the biosignals without the image of the electrode and the lead wire appearing on the film to hinder diagnosis.
