In a rotary compressor of a vane rotary type, an outer peripheral surface of an eccentric portion of a shaft on a side adjacent to a center of the shaft is located radially inwardly of an outer peripheral surface of a main shaft inserted in a main bearing and that of an auxiliary shaft inserted in an auxiliary bearing. Also, a back clearance means used in mounting a piston on the shaft is provided in each of an inner peripheral surface of the piston and the eccentric portion of the shaft. Such configurations can reduce a diameter of the eccentric portion. A reduction in diameter of the eccentric portion can reduce a viscous force of oil acting between the eccentric portion of the shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the piston to thereby reduce a rotational moment about a center of the eccentric portion of the shaft, which rotational moment acts on the piston in a direction of rotation of the shaft, thus making it possible to reduce a sliding loss that is generated by a reciprocating motion of a vane in a vane groove.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a vane rotary type air pump in which a pump mechanism and a drive motor are directly connected to each other and low noise is realized. In the vane rotary type air pump in which a cylinder (), a rotor () and a vane () are sandwiched between a front plate (not shown) and a rear plate (not shown), an opened end () of the vane groove () is provided in a reversed rotation direction region of the rotor () with respect to straight line connecting a center O of the rotor () and the closed end () of the vane groove (). A back pressure chamber () provided on a back surface of an orbiting scroll () is divided into an inner region () and an outer region () by an annular seal (). A diameter d of the annular seal () is set 0.5 times or more of a diameter D of an orbiting mirror plate (). With this, plus thrust force can be applied to the orbiting scroll () irrespective of magnitude of a discharge pressure Pd applied to the inner region (). Therefore, it is possible to push the orbiting scroll () against the fixed scroll () only by back pressure of discharge pressure. A set pressure Pm of the outer region () is reduced to a value close to a suction pressure Ps, a pressure adjusting mechanism () is swiftly opened after a scroll compressor is started. With this, lubricant oil is supplied from the outer region () to the suction space () without a time lag.

According to the present invention, an oil supply passage is formed in a suction space of a fixed scroll part, and an oil collision part is provided in the suction space. The oil collision part is provided in the suction space, an amount of oil to be supplied is controlled, refrigerant and lubricant oil are sufficiently mixed with each other. Tangents of ends of the oil collision part are made acute angle to smoothen the flow of the refrigerant.

Scroll compressor

An air supply device includes a plurality of bearings for rotatably supporting a shaft, a plurality of bearings for rotatably supporting an orbital scroll, and a plurality of bearings for rotatably supporting each of a plurality of rotation constraint members that prevents rotation of the orbital scroll about its own axis, but allows the orbital scroll to orbit relative to a stationary scroll. A grease-filled bearing is used as each of the bearings. Each of the bearings for supporting the orbital scroll includes two sealing materials disposed on respective sides of a plurality of rolling elements, and each of the sealing materials has an inner end held in contact with an inner ring and an outer end held in contact with an outer ring.

Air supply device

In a scroll compressor, an outer wall curve of a scroll lap of a fixed scroll and an inner wall curve of a scroll lap of an orbiting scroll are formed of involute curves whose basic circle radius is defined as 'a', an inner wall curve of the scroll lap of the fixed scroll and an outer wall curve of the scroll lap of the orbiting scroll are formed of involute curves whose basic circle radius is defined as 'b', and a value of a/b which is a ratio of the basic circle radius a and the basic circle radius b is set to a value exceeding 1.0 and less than 1.5. With this structure, a compression chamber formed on the side of the inner wall of the scroll lap of the orbiting scroll is compressed faster than a compression chamber formed on the side of the outer wall of the scroll lap of the orbiting scroll, and leakage loss during compression process can be reduced.

A scroll compressor, whose back pressure is easily controlled and compression efficiency is high, is provided. The scroll compressor includes a plurality of compression chambers formed by engaging a fixed-scroll wrap and an orbiting-scroll wrap, and a back pressure chamber formed at an opposite side of the orbiting-scroll wrap of a orbiting-scroll. The scroll compressor additionally includes a high pressure chamber and a middle pressure chamber, which are formed by dividing the back pressure chamber using a seal. Moreover, the scroll compressor includes a first path for supplying lube oil from the high pressure chamber to the middle pressure chamber, and a second path for supplying the lube oil from the middle pressure chamber to an suction chamber of the compression chambers. The first path is intermittently opened by orbit of the orbiting-scroll.

It is an object of the present invention to provide an air supply apparatus capable of increasing a height of a scroll lap. The air supply apparatus comprising a stator fixed to a motor frame, a rotor which is fixed to a motor shaft and rotated in the stator, a orbiting scroll which is operated by a mechanism shaft, a stationary scroll for forming a compression space between the stationary scroll itself and the orbiting scroll, and a rotation-restraint member for turning the orbiting scroll, in which the motor shaft and the mechanism shaft are connected to each other, the mechanism shaft passes through the orbiting scroll and the stationary scroll, the mechanism shaft is held by opposite ends of the orbiting scroll, wherein opposite ends of the motor shaft are rotatably held by a first bearing and a second bearing, one end of the mechanism shaft is held by the second bearing.

According to a scroll compressor of the present invention, lubricant is supplied to a compression chamber in the proportions of 2% by weight or more and less than 20% by weight of the lubricant to the sucked refrigerant amount. With this, it is possible to provide an efficient scroll compressor even when carbon dioxide is used as the refrigerant.

A hermetic type compressor comprises a hermetic container in which a compressor mechanism and a motor are provided, and a rotor of the motor is comprised of laminated iron plates in which permanent magnets are embedded, and a main shaft of the compressor mechanism is inserted into the rotor over its entire length. With this structure, even if a centrifugal force is applied to a balance weight at the high speed operation, laminated iron plates of a rotor are not displaced in the radial direction, and an excellent driving state can be kept.

It is an object of the present invention to improve the efficiency of a scroll gas compressor by operating a bypass at a proper compression ratio. To achieve the object, the present invention is constituted so that at least one pair of bypass holes whose one ends are opened in a compression chamber currently performing compression nearby a discharge vent and whose other ends communicate with a discharge chamber are asymmetrically arranged on a panel board. This structure makes it possible to improve the efficiency of the compressor by operating the bypass at an optimum compression ratio even if a difference is observed between pressure rises of a pair of symmetric compressed spaces under the compression process.

A working fluid which demonstrates a preferable performance even with a small filling amount of the refrigerant of hydrocarbons containing no halogen atom such as ethane, propane, butane, iso-butane and the like into the refrigerating cycle equipment is disclosed. A hermetic compressor includes a plurality of compressing mechanisms. Each of the compressing mechanism includes a rotary cylinder having a groove, and a piston slidable in the groove, so that a compressing stroke is carried out by rotation of said piston on a locus of a radius E about a point spaced apart at a distance E from the center of said rotary cylinder. A partition plate is interposed between the rotary cylinders of the adjacent compressing mechanisms. The partition plate is provided with a communication bore through which a shaft is passed. The partition plate is provided with cranks on which said pistons can be mounted. A motor mechanism section is adapted to drive the pistons of the compressing mechanisms by the common shaft. At least one of the compressing mechanisms is different in phase in a compressing stroke from the other compressing mechanisms. The rotary cylinders of the adjacent compressing mechanisms and said partition plate sandwiched between such rotary cylinders are formed from different members, and relatively non-rotatably connected to each other. Thus, the piston rotated in the above manner about the above-described point is not necessarily requited to be rotated about its axis during the rotating movement about such point, and need be only slid along the groove. Therefore, the piston can be formed into a non-circular shape, whereby the area of contact of the piston with the groove can be increased to enhance the sealability, thereby enhancing the suction and compression efficiency.
