A foamed body that is a porous foamed body including inorganic fibers other than asbestos, and having a compressive stress when compressed at normal temperature at a compression ratio of 80% of 0.1 MPa or less and a recovery ratio when compressed at normal temperature at a compression ratio of 80% of 50% or more.

Foam

An armature is vibrated by a magnetic field generating unit and a coil. A diaphragm is driven by the armature. In the magnetic field generating unit, a first protective layer is provided on the magnetized surface of a first magnet, and a second protective layer is provided on the magnetized surface of a second magnet. Since protective layers with a certain thickness are present, it is possible to prevent the armature from being left attracted to the first magnet or second magnet.

Sound production device

A sound producing device includes: a frame having an opening portion; a vibration plate arranged in the opening portion; a vibration support sheet that supports the vibration plate; and a drive mechanism that drives the vibration plate, which are contained in a case. The vibration support sheet includes a vibration plate support portion that covers the opening portion and includes a peripheral fixation portion that is bent from a peripheral edge portion of the vibration plate support portion and that faces an inner end surface of the opening portion. The vibration plate is fixed to the vibration plate support portion. An adhesive layer is interposed at a portion where the peripheral fixation portion faces the inner end surface, and an adhesive pool is formed at a boundary portion between an opening edge portion of the opening portion and the vibration plate support portion.

Sound producing device

A sound producing device includes a diaphragm, an armature extending parallel to the diaphragm, a coil having a wire wound around the armature in multiple turns, multiple magnets facing the armature, a yoke supporting the multiple magnets, a transmitting body configured to transmit a vibration of the armature to the diaphragm, a driving-side frame on which the armature, the coil, and the yoke supporting the multiple magnets are mounted, and a vibration-side frame including an opening in which the diaphragm is vibratably supported. The driving-side frame and the vibration-side frame are placed one over the other.

First electrode layers are formed from an ITO layer on one surface of a substrate formed from a PET film. The surfaces of the first electrode layers are covered with an insulating layer formed from a dry film resist or the like. Second electrode layers are formed on the surface of the insulating layer in a printing process. The second electrode layer is formed from conductive nanowires or conductive nanotubes. After that, first wiring layers brought into conduction with the first wiring layers and second wiring layers brought into conduction with the second electrode layers are formed.

Input device and method of manufacturing it

A holding material includes a stack of a first mat and a second mat, the first mat including alumina fibers that include 60 wt % or more of alumina and 40 wt % or less of silica, and the second mat including silica fibers that include 60 wt % or more of silica and 40 wt % or less of alumina and having a surface pressure higher than that of the first mat as measured at a gap bulk density of 0.30 g/cm.

Holding material, method for producing same, and gas treatment device using same

Provided are a holding material for a gas treatment device, which is inexpensive, has a simple structure, and exhibits high holding force, a gas treatment device, and a method for manufacturing the same. A holding material for a gas treatment device according to the present invention is a holding material, which is a holding material to be arranged, in a gas treatment device including a treatment structure and a casing for housing the treatment structure, between the treatment structure and the casing, the holding material including silica fibers and an alumina sol in an amount of 3 parts by mass or more in terms of a solid content with respect to 100 parts by mass of the silica fibers.

Holding material for gas treatment device, gas treatment device, and production processes therefor

Provided is a method for producing inorganic fiber including: preparing a spinning raw material liquid which comprises an aluminum source, a calcium source, a silicon source and a spinning auxiliary, in which the content of the spinning auxiliary is, in terms of solid matter, 3 parts by mass or more relative to 100 parts by mass of the total of the aluminum source, the calcium source and the silicon source; spinning the spinning raw material liquid by a sol-gel method to obtain crude inorganic fiber; and firing the crude inorganic fiber to produce inorganic fiber that comprises 35 mass % to 88 mass % of AlO, 3 mass % to 45 mass % of CaO and 5 mass % to 40 mass % of SiOin which the total of AlO, CaO and SiOis 97 mass % or more of the entire fiber.

Inorganic fiber and process for manufacturing same

To provide an inorganic fiber that suppresses adverse effects on a human body and living environments, exhibits high biosolubility, and also exhibits excellent heat resistance as a constituent material for a filter material, a sealing material, or the like. The inorganic fiber comprises 30 mass % or more and less than 81 mass % of AlO, more than 19 mass % and 65 mass % or less of MgO and 0 mass % to 40 mass % of SiO, wherein the total content of AlO, MgO and SiOrelative to the entire fiber is 98 mass % or more.

Inorganic fiber and method for manufacturing the same

Provided are inorganic fibers which can exhibit high biosolubility and have excellent heat resistance as the constituting material for a filter material, a sealing material or the like, while exerting minimized effects on the human body or the living environment even when the fibers have an average diameter of 1 &#x3bc;m or less. Inorganic fibers including 35 mass% to 88 mass% of AlO, 3 mass% to 45 mass% of CaO and 5 mass% to 40 mass% of SiO, wherein the total content of AlO, CaO and SiOis 98 mass% or more of the entire fibers.

A physical quantity sensor includes a support substrate, anchor portions fixed to a top surface of the support substrate, a movable portion positioned above the support substrate and supported by the anchor portions with support portions provided therebetween such that the movable portion is movable in a height direction, and detection portions for detecting a displacement of the movable portion. The support portions include beam portions provided between the movable portion and the anchor portions such that spring portions are provided between the beam portions and each of the movable portion and the anchor portions, the beam portions having a rigidity higher than a rigidity of the spring portions. The movable portion translates in the height direction owing to twisting of the spring portions and displacements in the height direction of distal ends of the beam portions, the movable portion being supported at the distal end.

Physical quantity sensor

In a curable resin composition containing an inorganic filler, the average particle diameter of the inorganic filler is 1 &#x3bc;m or less and the content of the inorganic filler is 50 wt % or less. A MEMS sensor includes a first substrate; a second substrate; a movable electrode portion and a fixed electrode portion which are arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein: conductive supporting portions of the movable electrode portion and the fixed electrode portion are, respectively, fixedly secured to a surface of the first substrate via a first insulating layer; a second insulating layer, a lead layer buried into the second insulating layer, and connection electrode portions that are electrically connected to the lead layer to be individually connected to the conductive supporting portions are provided on a surface of the second substrate; a metallic connection layer is formed on the surface of one of the respective conductive supporting portions; one of the respective connection electrode portions and the metallic connection layer are bonded together by eutectic bonding or diffusion bonding; and, at least each of the connection electrode portions has a thickness of about 4 &#x3bc;m or smaller.

Substrate bonded MEMS sensor

When a wind velocity sensor detects a wind velocity higher than a predetermined level, a timer device starts a waiting timer function during an operation timer period shorter than the waiting timer period. After the waiting timer period is over, the waiting timer function is switched to an operation timer function, and a switching relay switches a generator to a motor only during an operation timer period. Then, a driving circuit performs a start assisting rotation. After the operation timer period is over, the waiting timer period re-starts. This process is repeated. When during this period, the number of rotations of a rotor monitored by a rotation number measuring device, based on the output voltage Vof a three-phase conduction coil exceeds a predetermined number of rotations, the charging of a battery by a three-phase generator is started.

Wind power generator

An integrated circuit is provided with two output terminals and a mode switch circuit which includes a pair of switch terminals. The mode switch circuit is allowed to switch the output mode between the 1-output mode for outputting the (+) magnetic field detection signal and the (&#x2212;) magnetic field detection signal from the output terminal, and the 2-output mode for outputting the (+) magnetic field signal from the output terminal as one of the output terminals, and the (&#x2212;) magnetic field detection signal from the output terminal as the other output terminal in accordance with the shortcircuit state or the non-shortcircuit state between the switch terminals. The switch terminals are exposed on the surface of the device, and the shortcircuit state and the non-shortcircuit state may be externally adjusted.
