A vibration damping device comprises two cylindrical and flexible membrane members liquid-tightly connected at its end portion to respective end portion of a piston member and at its other end portions to respective face plates, a connecting member connecting the face plates to each other to form a closed chamber, a liquid filled in the closed chamber, and fastening members arranged onto the piston member and face plate, respectively. Moreover, at least one restricted passage is formed in the piston member or the connecting member. When an electrorheological fluid is used as a liquid, electrodes are arranged on opposed walls of the restricted passage.

A vibration damping device comprises two cylindrical and flexible membrane members, a restricted passage constituting member connected at both end portions to these membrane members, two face plates connected at their end portion to the membrane members, a closed chamber defined by these members and face plates, a rigid member connecting both the face plates to each other at inside or outside of the closed chamber, a fluid filled in the closed chamber, and a fastening member disposed at each side of the restricted passage constituting member and the face plate.

In a tire valve suitable for detecting the pressure and temperature in a tire, the strain of the tire wheel and the like, a conductive core body of a valve core is electrically insulated from a conductive shaft, and, to a pedestal having a 1st electrode electrically shaft and a 2nd electrode electrically connected to a conductive valve stem via a core spring, a sensor having two sensor electrodes connected with the 1st and 2nd electrodes respectively is fixed.

A body cover for a motor scooter vehicle with a rear cover for covering the engine unit. The rear cover has a projection in its upper portion over the rear wheel, the projection having an outlet. Accordingly, the heat generated from the engine unit may be well discharged through the outlet of the projection to the atmosphere.

Body cover and trunk structure for a motor scooter

A multi-wheeled vehicle of the motorcycle or motor scooter type including having a vehicle body including a front cover, a rear cover and a low-slung step portion which extends beneath the line connecting the front and rear axle of the vehicle. The vehicle is provided with a tandem seat which is positioned downwardly and forwardly. The vehicle body includes a frame having two lower members and one upper member arranged at the apices of a triangle and, in a preferred embodiment, at the apices of an isosceles triangle. A fuel tank is provided in the protected space between the body members and various metal flange members such that the tank is substantially arranged at the same level as the power unit and the lower surface of the tank may alson be below the level of the front and rear axles.

Trunk structure in scooter-type vehicles

This high speed, instantaneous multi-image recorder comprises a video camera, sensor unit and light projector. A frame memory is connected to the video camera, a flashtube is to the light projector, a retarder is to the sensor unit. The flashtube is connected to the retarder, and a monitor is connected to the frame memory. The video camera, sensor unit and light projected are placed as directed toward a moving object which is, for example, a golf club. When the golfer swings the club, the sensor unit detects the club, the light projector flashes, and the video camera picks up the golf ball and club head around the moment of impacting. Thus, the video camera catches many instantaneous poses within a frame. Many such images picked up in a signal frame of the video camera are displayed on the monitor screen for analysis.
