A light source apparatus includes a light source, a substrate provided rotatably around a predetermined axis of rotation, a scattered light generator which is provided on the substrate and on which light from the light source is incident, a pickup lens provided on the light exiting side of the scattered light generator, and a holding member that holds the pickup lens, and at least one of the contour of a surface closest to the substrate among the surfaces of the holding member and the contour of a surface facing the substrate among the surfaces of the pickup lens is located inside the contour of the substrate when viewed in the direction parallel to the axis of rotation.

Light source apparatus and projector

A light source device includes a phosphor layer having a side surface, a bottom surface, and a top surface opposed to the bottom surface, a reflecting member opposed to the side surface of the phosphor layer, a substrate disposed on the bottom surface side of the phosphor layer, and an adhesive adapted to bond the phosphor layer and the substrate to each other. A surface of the substrate located on the phosphor layer side includes a recessed section overlapping the reflecting member on at least an outer side of the phosphor layer in a planar view. A part of the adhesive running off the phosphor layer is received by the recessed section. Fluorescence generated in the phosphor layer is emitted from the top surface and the side surface.

Light source device and projector

A fluorescence light emitting element includes a phosphor layer that includes phosphors and a binder made of an inorganic material. A thermal conductivity B of the binder is larger than 1.88 times a thermal conductivity A of the phosphors. When the volume of the phosphors included in the phosphor layer is X and the volume of the binder included in the phosphor layer is Y, a relationship of X/Y&#x3e;1/2 is satisfied.

A screen includes: a screen base body, wherein the screen base body includes a plurality of substrates, each of the substrates has a sheet part and a connecting part provided at least one of the surfaces of the sheet part, the connecting part of one of the substrates is detachably connected with the connecting part of the other substrate, and when the screen is used the screen base body is produced by connecting the connecting parts of the respective substrates such that the substrates can be combined.

Screen

A screen unit includes a screen, a screen holding unit which holds the upper end of the screen, a screen winding unit around which the screen is wound, a pantograph mechanism which expands and stores the screen, and adjusting units which control the position of the upper end of the screen when the screen is expanded. The adjusting units have a support member which has a screw portion, and an adjusting screw member rotatably provided on the corresponding support member. The support member shifts in accordance with rotation of the adjusting screw member.

Screen unit

A screen unit includes a flexible screen, a pantograph mechanism which expands and stores the screen, a motor which shifts one end of the pantograph mechanism to stretch and contract the pantograph mechanism, and a wire. The screen unit further includes a housing which accommodates these components, and a cover which opens and closes at the time of expansion and storage of the screen. One end of the wire is held by the electric motor, and the other end of the wire is held by the cover, so that the cover can be closed in accordance with the contraction of the pantograph mechanism effected by the motor.

A screen unit includes: a screen having a first side, a second side, and a pair of crossing sides which cross the first side and the second side; a winding shaft holding the first side and functioning as a shaft around which the screen is wound; a supporting portion supporting the second side; a pair of string-shaped members provided between the winding shaft and the supporting portion and disposed outside the pair of the crossing sides of the screen in the directions along the pair of the crossing sides; and a plurality of connecting members provided on the pair of the crossing sides to connect the screen and the pair of the string-shaped members, wherein the pair of the crossing sides are curved toward the inside of the screen, and cushioning members are provided in such a manner as to cover at least the pair of the string-shaped members.

A screen unit includes: a screen member; a first support member which supports one end of the screen member; a second support member which supports the other end of the screen member; a stretching and contracting device which expands the screen member; and a tensioning member disposed on the side opposite to the side where the screen member is provided with respect to the stretching and contracting device to apply tension in a direction substantially parallel with the direction from the first support member to the second support member.

A screen includes a screen main body, having flexibility, onto which an image light is projected; a first support and a second support which, extending one along each of a pair of opposed edges of the screen main body, each support one of the pair of edges; an auxiliary support which, being disposed between the first support and the second support, extends parallel to the first support and the second support, and supports a pair of intersecting edges intersecting with the pair of edges of the screen main body; and linkage mechanisms which, bridging adjacent supports, among the first support, second support, and auxiliary support, as well as regulating a movement of the adjacent supports in an out-of-plane direction of a projection surface of the screen main body, extend and contract in a direction in which the adjacent supports face each other, bringing the adjacent supports closer to and away from each other.
