An electronic device having a clock portion for counting time and having the time on the clock portion set based on time information acquired from outside has a notification portion that communicates information of the time counted by the clock portion to an external device via a physical line. Alternatively, an electronic device has a first clock portion counting time and an acquisition portion that acquires, from an external device having a second clock portion for counting time and having the time on the second clock portion set based on time information acquired from outside, information of the time counted by the second clock portion via a physical line, and the time on the first clock portion is set based on the information acquired by the acquisition portion.

Further, a drain pan on which the indoor heat exchanger is mounted is disposed on the bottom plate, the partition plate is equipped with a drain opening through which drain water flowing from the indoor heat exchanger through the drain pan is flows to the bottom plate, and at least one of the drain pan and the partition plate is equipped with an intercepting member for intercepting flow of rain/wind from the outdoor-side chamber to the indoor-side chamber.

Integral-type air conditioner

In an air conditioner having an electrical equipment mount device containing at least one circuit board on which electrical parts connected to wires are mounted, plural wire abutting portions are formed on a wire fixing face so as to be different in height from said wire fixing face, and a wire is fixedly pinched between a wire press member and one of the wire abutting portions that is selected in accordance with the diameter of the wire. The wire fixing face has a conduit fixing member having a conduit fixing face to which one end portion of a conduit having electrical wires inserted therein is fixed. Plural engaging holes are formed in the wire fixing face, and the conduit fixing member is equipped with plural engaging members which are fixedly engageable with the engaging holes of the electrical equipment mount plate. The engaging members are located at different positions on the conduit fixing member with respect to the conduit fixing face.

A refrigerant distribution unit 10 is an integrated structure comprising: a multiplicity of branch tubes 12a-12c connectable with a multiplicity of indoor units 1a-1c; a distributor 11, connected with one refrigerant tube 5a extending from an outdoor unit for receiving refrigerant from the outdoor unit, the distributor distributing the refrigerant to the multiple branch tubes 12a-12c; and electric valves 15 provided one in each of the branch tubes 12a-12c for controlling the flows of refrigerant that pass through the respective branch tubes; and a case for enclosing the flow control unit. The refrigerant distribution unit 10 enables distribution of optimal amounts of refrigerant to all of the coexisting indoor units 1a-1e, even when the indoor units 1d-1e have much larger heat capacities than the indoor units 1a-1c.

When a single room unit 4 is connected to a compressor 2B of the outdoor unit 1, the room unit 4 is connected to a connection box 29 which is mounted on the outdoor unit 1. Instead, if two room units 5A and 5B must be connected to the outdoor unit 1, a connection box 37 is mounted on the back of the outdoor unit 1. The connection box 37 has branches each having valves 44A and 44B and expansion devices 43A and 43B. The two room units are connected to these branches of the connection box 37. Because of these optional connection boxes, the outdoor unit itself may be constructed in a compact form, and connection of multiple room units to the outdoor unit may be carried out conveniently and correctly in a simple manner.
