The module integrated type refrigerant condenser includes a roughly cylindrical right side header connected to the outlets of a plurality of condensing tubes and the inlets of a plurality of supercooling tubes, and a modulator directly connected to the right side header in the width direction of the core. By providing a partition part for dividing the second inner space into two gas-liquid separation chambers, the modulator is formed into a shape as if two roughly cylindrical pipe bodies were stacked up in the thickness direction of the core, and the width thereof is made shorter in comparison with a simple, cylindrical modulator.

An expandable, powder coating composition is disclosed which includes (a) a thermoplastic resin containing a hydroxyl group-containing polymer, (b) a cross-linking agent containing a polyisocyanate compound which is capable crosslinking the thermoplastic resin, (c) a blowing agent, and (d) a mixture of a solid plasticizer such as triphenyl phosphate and a liquid plasticizer such as dioctyl phthalate.

Expandable powder coating composition

An expandable, powder coating composition is disclosed which comprises (a) a thermoplastic resin containing a copolymer of ethylene with vinyl acetate, (b) a cross-linking agent containing an organic peroxide, (c) a blowing agent, and (d) an organic plasticizer. Powder coating of a surface of a tube or box to be used in air conditioners with the coating composition can give a heat-insulating, foamed sheath or lining over the surface.

Expandable powder coating composition, method of coating a substrate

An expandable, powder coating composition is disclosed which comprises (a) a thermoplastic resin containing a hydroxyl group-containing polymer, (b) a cross-linking agent containing a polyisocyanate compound which is capable of reacting with the hydroxyl groups of the polymer to crosslink the polymer at a temperature higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin and which is solid at room temperature, and (c) a blowing agent capable of decomposing and generating a gas when heated to a temperature higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin. Powder coating with the coating composition can give a heat-insulating, foamed sheath or lining over the surface of a metal tube or box to be used in air conditioners.

A multi-layer type heat exchanger is formed by a row of parallel flat tubes each having tank portions spaced widthwise of the flat tube and disposed adjacent to one end thereof. Each tube defines therein a passage for a heat transfer fluid extending from one tank portion towards the other end of the tube and is then turned to the other tank portion. The flat tubes are stacked such that the tank portions are connected together in fluid-flow communication with each other. The portions of each adjacent pair of tubes excepting the tank portions are spaced apart to accommodate a corrugated fin. Each tube is formed by two press-worked core plates soldered together to form the passage in the tube. Two adjacent core plates of each adjacent pair of tubes have bent end portions extending to and engaged with each other or integrally connected together to support the other ends of the adjacent tubes in spaced relationship to accommodate the fin therebetween.

Multi-layer type heat exchanger

A receiver has a good usage for receiving coolant in a refrigerant circuit. The receiver can improve the fixing and the connecting operation when the receiver is connected with the refrigerant circuit provided in an automotive engine room. The receiver is comprised of a receiver housing having a flat upper surface and a couple of block joints having a flat lower surface. The block joints are furnished on the upper surface of the receiver housing by screwing. The block joints have connecting halls an inlet and an outlet pipes are jointed therein. At least one of the connecting halls are formed vertically so that at least one of the inlet and the outlet pipes elongates upwardly. Therefore, the inlet or the outlet pipe has advantage to be connected easily and effectively.
