An accelerator device includes a case provided on a floor, a pad arranged outside the case to be stepped on by a driver, a pedal arranged in the case to be rotatable in an accelerator opening direction by a stepping force of the pad, an arm connecting the pad to the pedal, and a biasing member configured to bias the pedal in an accelerator closing direction. One end of the arm is press-fitted into a connecting portion of the pad in a press-fitting direction. At least one of the arm or the pad is provided with a play removing part that is configured to eliminate a play between the one end of the arm and the connecting portion in the press-fitting direction by contacting the one end of the arm and the connecting portion.

Accelerator device

An accelerator device includes a pedal lever, at least one drive source, a power transmission mechanism, and a locking mechanism. The pedal lever operates in response to a depressing operation. The drive source is configured to exert a reaction force as a force in a returning direction to the pedal lever. The power transmission mechanism transmits a drive force from the drive source to the pedal lever. The locking mechanism is capable of regulating the operation of the pedal lever.

An accelerator device includes a pedal lever, a reaction force adjuster and a controller. The pedal lever operates according to a stepping operation. The reaction force adjuster is driven by an actuator, and is capable of adjusting a reaction force that is a force in a direction of pushing back the pedal lever. The controller includes a target operation amount setting unit and a drive control unit. The target operation amount setting unit sets a target operation amount, which is an operation amount of the pedal lever according to a vehicle speed. The drive control unit controls a drive of the actuator. The controller controls the reaction force according to the target operation amount so that the operation amount of the pedal lever is within a target range when switching from an automatic drive to a manual drive.

A pedal device comprises a brake pedal, an accelerator pedal, a support member and an adjusting device. The brake pedal is operated to be depressed by a leg of a passenger, and an operation amount of a depressing operation of the brake pedal is transmitted as an electrical signal. The accelerator pedal is operated to be depressed by a leg of the passenger, and an operation amount of a depressing operation of the accelerator pedal is transmitted as an electrical signal. The support member is connected with the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal, respectively, to support the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal in a rotatable manner. The adjusting device adjusts a position or a posture of the pedal unit including the brake pedal, the accelerator pedal, and the support member.

Pedal device

An accelerator device includes an inner housing, a pedal lever, an urging member, and an actuator. The inner housing is supported to the outer housing by a support member. The pedal lever is rotatably supported to the inner housing in response to a stepping operation. The urging member urges the pedal lever in a closing direction. The actuator can drive the inner housing in an opening and closing directions of the pedal lever.

An accelerator device includes at least one drive source, a pedal lever, and a power transmission mechanism. The pedal lever is configured to move according to a pedal depressing operation. The power transmission mechanism is configured to transmit force both in the pedal lever's closing direction and opening direction to the pedal lever by driving of the drive source.

A rotary actuator used in a shift-by-wire system of a vehicle includes: a motor; an output shaft arranged parallel to a rotation shaft of the motor; and a deceleration mechanism that decelerates rotation of the motor and transmits it to the output shaft. The deceleration mechanism includes a drive gear provided over a rotation axis of the rotation shaft and a driven gear provided over a rotation axis of the output shaft to mesh with the drive gear. The driven gear is a separate member from the output shaft and is loosely fitted to the output shaft.

Rotary actuator

An output shaft includes a shaft hole with which a shaft is fittable, rotates by torque output from a motor, and outputs torque to the shaft. A magnet holder includes a holder hole with which the shaft is fittable and is rotatable together with the shaft. A magnet is disposed on the magnet holder. An angle sensor is capable of detecting magnetic flux from the magnet and outputs a signal corresponding to a rotation angle of the magnet holder. A play amount between the shaft and the shaft hole is set to a first predetermined value or larger. A play amount between the shaft and the holder hole is set to a second predetermined value or smaller.

Rotary actuator, rotation driving device, and shift-by-wire system using same

A shift position switching device for shifting gears in association with a shift position. The device includes a shift mechanism switching between shift positions using a drive power of a motor, an encoder outputting pulse signals in sync with a rotation of the motor, and a controller rotating the motor to a target rotation position corresponding to an intended gear. The controller rotates the motor toward a dead-end on a first shift position side of the shift mechanism while observing a motor rotation speed or an acceleration of rotation of the motor based on the outputted pulse signals of the encoder. Also, the controller learns, as a reference position on the first shift position side, a first rotation position of the motor.

Shift position switching device

A SBW-ECU prohibits driving of an electric motor by turning off power supply to the motor by a drive prohibition device, when a diagnosis part of a by-wire control circuit determines that a shift-by-wire system is abnormal or a monitor circuit determines that the by-wire control circuit is abnormal. In this case, the motor is stopped from rotating by execution of power supply phase fixation processing, by which a power supply phase of the motor is fixed without switchover, when the motor is driven to rotate at the time of determination of abnormality of the shift-by-wire system. Then the prohibition device prohibits driving of the motor by stopping the power supply to the motor.

Vehicle control system

A motor control apparatus includes a motor that rotates a controlled object, an encoder that outputs a pulse signal in synchronization with a rotation of the motor, and a control section that performs a feedback control so as to rotate the motor to the target rotational position. The control section includes a stopping and holding control portion. The stopping and holding control portion performs a stopping and holding process in which the stopping and holding control portion supplies electric current to the motor so as to stop and hold the motor for a current-supply holding time. The stopping and holding control portion sets the current-supply holding time on the basis of a rotation speed of the motor just before the stopping and holding process.

Motor control apparatus

A motor control apparatus that controls rotation of a rotor of an electric motor powered from an electric power source includes a learning portion that executes an initial drive learning process, and a controller that executes a normal drive operation to sequentially change an exciting phase of the electric motor based on a count value of a counter which is corrected by a correcting portion such that the rotor is rotated to a target position after an initial drive operation is finished. The learning portion re-executes the initial drive learning process after a predetermined condition is satisfied, when the initial drive learning process is failed.

An electronic control unit senses an actual shift range of a automatic transmission by executing a range determination operation, which determines the actual shift range of the automatic transmission based on a rotational position of a manual shaft that is sensed with an encoder. The control unit prohibits the execution of the range determination operation throughout a range determination operation prohibiting period, which is a predetermined time period and starts from a time point of starting rotation of the rotor of the electric motor unit toward the target rotational position.

Shift-by-wire system for automatic transmission of vehicle

When a vehicle electric power source is turned on, and when a target mode position is other than a parking (P)-mode position and a driving (D)-mode position or the target mode position is unfixed, a shift-by-wire electronic control unit (SBW-ECU) does not drive the actuator so that the current actual mode position is maintained. The SBW-ECU accepts only the driver's requirement for changing the mode position to the P-mode position or the D-mode position. When it is required to change the mode position to the P-mode position, a first position learning portion learns a first reference position. When it is required to change the mode position to the D-mode position, a second position learning portion learns a second reference position.

Shift-by-wire system

A motor controlling device includes an encoder to output pulse signals with a predetermined angle interval as a rotor of a motor is rotated. An energized phase of the motor is sequentially switched by detecting a rotation position of the rotor based on a value of counting the signals. An initial drive controlling portion executes an initial drive to switch the energized phase with a predetermined pattern after the device is activated so as to learn a relationship among the count value, the rotation position and the energized phase. An initial drive prohibiting portion prohibits the execution of the initial drive until a predetermined time is elapsed after the initial drive is finished.
