A range hood for collecting oil scattered from a rotating disk filter, capable of improving the cleaning workability is provided. The range hood includes a fan configured to generate an air flow, a disk filter provided on a flow path of the air flow and having a slit, a motor configured to rotate the disk filter, a rectifying plate provided upstream of the disk filter on the flow path of the air flow, and a disk cover configured to surround an outer periphery portion of the disc filter and having an outlet portion that allows oil from the disk filter to flow out to a predetermined portion of the rectifying plate.

Provided is an oven having an improved structure for keeping a cooking chamber clean. An optical coupling member includes an optical fiber (), a holder () that holds the optical fiber inserted from an insertion hole () formed at one end, and a lens such as a collimator lens () accommodated in an accommodation section () formed at the other end of the holder (), the optical coupling member performing positioning by causing at least one of the lens and the end face of the optical fiber () to come into contact with an abutting surface () formed in the vicinity of the accommodation section () by providing a recess () on an outer circumference near the accommodation section () of the holder (), in which a plurality of the recesses () are provided on an identical plane orthogonal to an insertion direction of the optical fiber ().

An optical connector has: a holding member having an accommodating portion formed at an end thereof for accommodating a collimator lens and an insertion hole formed at an opposite end thereof for inserting an optical fiber; and a resin joint having a first insertion hole formed at an end thereof for inserting the holding member and a second insertion hole formed at an opposite end thereof for inserting the optical fiber. The collimator lens and the optical fiber are positioned by making at least one of the collimator lens and an end surface of the optical fiber abut against a recess formed in the holding member near the accommodating portion. The resin joint has a fixing portion formed therein for fixing a part of the optical fiber positioned in the holding member inserted via the first insertion hole into the resin joint, the part being exposed from the holding member.

Optical connector

In order to facilitate positioning of a collimator lens and an optical fiber while preventing cost increase, provided is an optical collimator having a holder () which has a cylindrical shape and is made of metal; a collimator lens () which is housed in a housing part () formed at an end of the holder (); and an optical fiber () which is inserted via an insertion hole () formed at an opposite end of the holder () and is fixed at a predetermined position. At least one of the collimator lens () and an end surface of the optical fiber () is made to abut to a recess () formed in proximity of the housing part () of the holder () thereby to perform positioning.

A water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen containing at least colored resin particles which have an average particle diameter of 2 to 20 &#x3bc;m and which are non-thermoplastic in a proportion of 5 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition and non-colored particles having a glass transition point of 60&#xb0; C. or higher. The average particle diameter of the non-colored particles is preferably to 0.01 to 10 &#x3bc;m. The ink composition preferably includes at least one selected from ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of glycerin and ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of diglycerin in a proportion of 1 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition.

Water-based ink composition for ball-point pen

A water-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen containing at least colored resin particles which have an average particle diameter of 2 to 20 &#x3bc;m and which are non-thermoplastic in a proportion of 5 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition and non-colored particles having a glass transition point of lower than 0&#xb0; C. The average particle diameter of the non-colored particles is controlled preferably to 0.01 to 10 &#x3bc;m. The composition preferably includes at least one selected from ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of glycerin and ethylene oxide or propylene oxide adducts of diglycerin in a proportion of 1 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition.

Water-based ink composition for ballpoint pen

Dispersibility of thickener is constant for every lot and viscosity difference is little. Fine bubbles existing in the thicker in ink follower are removed. A step of homogenizing the thickener at any temperature within a range of 40&deg; C. to 130&deg; C. is included. Preferably, a step of homogenizing the thickener at any temperature within a range of 100&deg; C. to 130&deg; C. is included.

Method for manufacturing ink follower for water base ballpoint pens

This invention relates to ink follower for a water-base ballpoint pen with its bubbles removed, time-dependent stability, less oil separation, and greatly reduced lot-to-lot viscosity difference and associated performance difference, and a method for manufacturing the same. After addition of thickener, the follower is made depressurized preferably at 0.2 atm or lower. Simultaneous heating and stirring are preferable. When the ink follower is solely debubbled in advance, fine bubbles contained in particulate silica, clay thickener, etc. can be very highly removed even if the centrifugal debubbling is not so strong and there is no bad affection to the writing property of the pen. It is also possible that, after adding the thickener, a centrifugal force greater than or equal to 200-fold of the gravitational acceleration is applied to debubble.

Ink follower for water-base ballpoint pens and method of manufacturing the same

Lot-to-lot or time-dependent instability in quality of the known ink follower for water-base ballpoint pens is overcome. Particulate silica, or organic-treated clay is kneaded as thickener with base oil to prepare gel matter. The gel matter is pressurized to eliminate fine bubbles to yield ink follower for water-base ballpoint pens. The pressurization is preferably performed at 2 atm or higher. The elimination of the bubbles is more effective when the ink follower is, under pressurization, stirred and/or heated.
