A split-flow-type flow sensor apparatus includes a main flow passage and a bypass flow passage, wherein a thermal flow sensor is placed on the wall face of the bypass flow passage. A first rectification member is placed upstream from a diversion part to the bypass flow passage in the main flow passage, and a second rectification member is placed upstream from the thermal flow sensor in the bypass flow passage. A bypass flow passage module is inserted into an opening formed on a side of a main flow passage module. The side opening of the main flow passage module is sealed and an entrance and an exit of the bypass flow passage are positioned in the main flow passage.

Split-flow-type flow sensor device

A display monitor is provided for a multi-optical-path photoelectric safety apparatus including a plurality of multi-optical-path photoelectric sensor units. The user can determine whether a special function such as blanking is set for each optical path in a group which comprises a plurality of indicator lamps placed in a row along a longitudinal direction. The user can check the light incidence/light block status for each optical path on an indicator lamp group. The display monitor includes the plurality of indicator lamps placed in a row in the longitudinal direction. First and second switches allow the user to select the unit and the optical path to be shown on the two indicator lamp groups.

An area sensor including a light emitter having a plurality of light emitting devices that emit rays of light and a light receiver having light receiving devices that respectively correspond to the light emitting devices for receiving the rays of light therefrom. In the area sensor, the light emitting device and/or the light receiving device that provides at least one of the optical axes formed by sets of the light emitting devices and the corresponding light receiving devices is adapted to have narrower angular characteristics than the light emitting devices and/or the light receiving devices that provide the other optical axes.
