A cable enclosure includes a base, a cover configured to cover the base to allow a cable to be enclosed between the cover and the base, and a cable insertion opening formed between a side edge of the base and a side edge of the cover to allow the cable to be inserted therethrough, wherein the cover has a plurality of first projections projecting into the cable insertion opening from the side edge of the cover toward the base, wherein the base has a plurality of second projections projecting into the cable insertion opening from the side edge of the base toward the cover, and wherein the first projections and the second projections project in a staggered manner, such that a sum of a projecting length of the first projections and a projecting length of the second projections is longer than a gap length of the cable insertion opening.

Cable enclosure and electronic apparatus

A modular plug attaching and detaching tool includes a first holder configured to accommodate a plurality of modular plugs in an aligned state and a second holder configured to press unlocking claws of the plurality of modular plugs when the second holder is attached to the first holder. The first holder includes an engagement groove extending in an inserting direction of the modular plug. The second holder includes an engagement part configured to engage with the engagement groove of the first holder by being moved in the inserting direction.

Tool and method for attaching and detaching modular plugs

A cable clamp which is capable of preventing even a very fine cable to be treated from coming off or extending off therefrom, without any fear of the cable being damaged or broken, and is easy to carry out a clamping treatment and an extra length-bunching treatment on cables, with enhanced workability. The cable clamp includes a pair of cable-holding bodies each including a pillar portion vertically extending from the base, and a cantilever portion extending from an end of the pillar portion, remote from the base, in a direction substantially at right angles to the pillar portion. The pair of cable-holding bodies are configured such that the pillar portions are arranged to extend in opposite directions, with one of respective side surfaces of the respective cantilever portions being opposed to the other with a predetermined space therebetween.

Cable clamp

An modular plug includes a plug main body that can be inserted into and removed from a connector; an engaging claw configured to engage the plug main body with the connector; and an operations lever configured to turn off engagement of the plug main body and the connector by the engaging claw; wherein a lock turning-off member is provided at the plug main body so that the lock turning-off member can be slid in inserting and removing directions; an inclination surface of the lock turning-off member is formed in a position facing the operations lever; and the inclination surface operates the operation lever accompanying sliding in the inserting direction of the lock-turning off member so that the engagement of the engaging claw and the connector is turned off.

Modular plug and plug installation structure

In a connector mounting structure, a printed-wiring board has a cut portion, a modular connector connecting pattern provided adjacent to the cut portion, and a connecting pattern provided isolated from the modular connector connecting pattern and connecting an SFP connector. Also, the printed-wiring board and a front board are combined in order that the cut portion faces a plane of an opening which the front board has. When a modular connector is inserted into the opening, the modular connector is supported by the opening and the cut portion and concurrently the modular connector is electrically contacted with the modular connector connecting pattern. When an SFP front cage is inserted into the opening, the SFP front cage is supported by the opening and the cut portion and concurrently an SFP module becomes connectable to the SFP connector through the SFP front cage.

Connector mounting structure

The object of the invention is to construct a simple packaging structure having few components and capable of protecting a contained product against shock impacts coming from all directions. To this end, the packaging structure according to the present invention is made of synthetic resin with an elastic quality molded into a sheet form, and includes a first tray pack and a second tray pack which face each other and are adjoined to hold the contained product securely in place; wherein the first and second tray packs are provided with sustaining portions sustaining the periphery of the contained product.

Tray pack and packaging structure

A power supply terminal that prevents damage to capacitors included in a noise filter circuit therein which may occur due to a BWB's warp or thermal stresses at soldering time. The noise filter circuit is formed on a noise filter circuit substrate, being a substrate separate from the BWB. The noise filter circuit substrate is connected conductively to part of each of press fit terminals.

Power supply terminal and back board

An electronic apparatus includes an optical connector adapting unit to which optical connectors of external optical fibers are connected. The optical connector adapting unit includes a plurality of optical connector adapters which are diagonally arranged on the front side of the apparatus. The optical connectors of the external optical fibers are diagonally detachable from the optical connector adapters. In this electronic apparatus, a large number of optical connectors of optical fibers can be connected and arranged in a restricted space.

Electronic apparatus

A power supply terminal assembly for use on a board and having a construction which is capable of improving working efficiency in mounting the power supply terminal assembly onto the board and enhancing mechanical strength of each power supply terminal. The power supply terminal assembly for supplying electric power to a back wiring board (BWB) comprises a terminal block formed with a pair of through slits and a screw hole at a center between the pair of through slits, and a terminal bracket bent into a U-shape and having a flat central plate portion formed therethrough with a hole corresponding to the screw hole and opposite side plate portions each formed with a plurality of press-fit terminals at an end thereof, the opposite side plate portions being inserted through the pair of through slits, respectively, and fixed thereat.

Power supply terminal assembly

An optical telecommunication apparatus includes a shelf, a primary substrate provided in the shelf, a secondary substrate provided on the primary substrate, an optical component provided on the secondary substrate, and an optical connector provided on the secondary substrate for connection with an external optical cable, wherein the secondary substrate is pivoted on the primary substrate about a pivot axis so as to be movable about the pivot axis between a first position in which the secondary substrate is inside said shelf and a second position in which the secondary substrate projects outside of the shelf. The secondary substrate is in electrical connection with the primary substrate while in any position between the first and second positions.

Optical telecommunication apparatus

An optical telecommunication unit includes a shielded case having a size adapted for mounting upon a standard open-rack frame, wherein the shielded case includes a rear panel carrying an interconnection pattern, a plurality of plug-in connectors provided on the rear panel at an inner side thereof in electrical connection with the interconnection pattern for holding plug-in units forming an optical telecommunication apparatus inside the optical telecommunication unit, wherein the optical telecommunication unit carries a plurality of interface connectors on the rear panel in electrical connection with the interconnection pattern for accepting external interconnection cables, and a rear cover is provided on the shielded case so as to cover the rear panel.

Optical telecommunication apparatus for use in an optical ring network

A housing structure for a plug-in type optical connector, comprising a housing body (1) to be fixed on a backboard, having a first opening (4) on the front surface thereof for the insertion of an optical connector (14) for an outer cable, and a cover (6) having a second opening (8) on the front surface thereof for the insertion of the optical connector (14) for the outer cable and attached to the housing body (1) to be slidable thereon up and downward between a closed position at which the second opening (8) does not coincide with the first opening (4) on the housing body (1) and an open position at which the first and second openings (4, 8) coincide with each other; the cover (6) being provided with a locking mechanism (9) which operates to retain the cover (6) at the closed position when the optical connector (14) for the outer cable is not inserted into the second opening (8) and to release the cover (6 ) from locking at the closed position when the optical connector (14) for the outer cable is inserted into the second opening (8) and allow the same (6) to be slidable to the open position.
