A hammer drill includes a boss sleeve rotatably and externally mounted to an intermediate shaft separately from the intermediate shaft. The boss sleeve includes a rod coupled to a rear end of a piston cylinder via a swash bearing. The boss sleeve is configured to rotate to convert a rotation of the intermediate shaft into a reciprocating motion in a front-rear direction of the rod and transmit the reciprocating motion to the piston cylinder. The hammer drill includes a second clutch disposed at the intermediate shaft. By performing a switch operation of a slide position of the second clutch, a hammer mode in which the second clutch is engaged with the boss sleeve to reciprocate the piston cylinder back and forth and another operation mode are selectable. The boss sleeve is rotatably cantilevered not to be in contact with the intermediate shaft by an inner housing via a bearing.

Electric power tool

A driving tool includes a driver moving along a driving passage and a lift mechanism for moving the driver. The driving tool includes a pusher and an idling strike prevention mechanism interlocking with a position of the pusher. The pusher pushes a driving member from a side opposite to a first end surface of a tool main body such that the driving member contacts a tip end of the driver at a standby position. When the driver moves from the standby position to a top dead center, the pusher supplies the driving member to the driving passage. After that, the driver moves downward to a driving position to drive the driving member. When no driving member is left, the idling strike prevention mechanism restricts activation of the driving tool in interlocking with the pusher such that the pusher moves to an activation restriction on a side of the driving passage.

Driving tool

A driving tool includes a feeder that successively loads a driving member to a loading position. A driver moves downward in a driving direction to drive the driving member loaded to the loading position. A plurality of driving members are combined in parallel by a flexible member. A lifter engages the driver to move the driver upward in a direction opposite to the driving direction. A position detection sensor detects a rotation position of the lifter to detect a position of the driver. A controller determines that a tip end of the driver is positioned above the loading position according to a signal from the position detection sensor. The controller loads the driving member via the feeder.

A driving tool comprises a tool main body that includes a driver for driving a U-shaped staple, and a main magazine for housing a plurality of staples that extends from the tool main body. The driving tool also comprises a sub-magazine to which a pusher and a staple guide are attachable. The pusher pushes the staples in the main magazine toward the tool main body. The staple guide is inserted between a pair of legs of the staple in the main magazine. The driving tool also comprises a guide mechanism for guiding the sub-magazine toward the tool main body from an opening position to a closing position with respect to the main magazine. The guide mechanism also guides the sub-magazine in a direction opposite to a driving direction while the sub-magazine moves from the opening position to the closing position.

A driving tool for improving shock absorbability and durability of a tubular damper, the driving tool comprising a cylinder and a piston that moves inside the cylinder owing to a gas pressure. The driving tool further comprises a driver main body to drive a driving member by moving integrally with the piston, and a lift mechanism having a wheel for the driver main body to return to original position. The driver main body is arranged such that a width center line of the driver main body is offset in a direction away from the lift mechanism with respect to a width center line of the piston.

An impact tool includes a housing, an impact mechanism unit, a motor, and a dust collection fan. The housing is configured to mount a dust collection attachment. The impact mechanism unit is disposed inside the housing. The impact mechanism unit has a front end to which a tool bit is mounted and an impact element that reciprocates. The impact mechanism unit is configured to impact the tool bit by the impact element. The motor is disposed such that a rotation shaft of the motor intersects with an impact axis direction of the impact mechanism unit inside the housing. The dust collection fan is disposed on the rotation shaft. The dust collection fan is disposed below the motor.

Impact tool and dust collection system

A power tool, such as a rotary hammer, includes a housing, an output shaft for mounting a tool accessary and a motor having a motor shaft that generates a rotational output for rotating and linearly hammering the output shaft. The rotational output of the motor shaft is coupled to the output shaft via a driving mechanism that includes a hammer mechanism. An intervening member is axially movable relative to the motor shaft and is operably coupled between the motor shaft and the hammer mechanism. The hammer mechanism and the output shaft are supported by a movable support that is axially movable relative to the housing. Because the output shaft and the driving mechanism are movable relative to the motor and the housing, which preferably includes handle, via the intervening member and the movable support during hammering operations, vibration generated during hammering operations can be dampened before reaching the housing.

Power tool having hammer mechanism

Two balls can reliably retract for smooth insertion of a tip tool into a tool holder. A hammer drill includes a tool holder, two balls in reception holes in the tool holder, a guide washer urging the balls forward in the reception holes with a coil spring, a pressure ring adjacent to a front of the guide washer, and an operation sleeve allowing the pressure ring to move backward and forward between locked and unlocked positions of the two balls. The guide washer includes, on its front surface, a projection toward the pressure ring to cause, with the pressure ring at the locked position, the guide washer to be inclined with respect to an axis of the tool holder for a first ball to move more backward than a second ball.

Striking tool

A dust collector for electric power tool includes a body case, a dust box, a nozzle, and a dust collecting route. The dust box includes a dust-collector-side exhaust port and is installable on an electric power tool. The dust box internally includes a filter. The nozzle is disposed to the body case and includes a suction opening on a front end. The dust collecting route is disposed from the suction opening to the dust-collector-side exhaust port passing through the filter. The dust box includes a box main body that includes a vibration applicator configured to directly apply a vibration to the dust box by a rotating operation of an operation knob.

A power tool comprises a motor, a final output shaft, a tool body, a detection device, and a braking device. The motor has a motor body including a stator and a rotor, and a motor shaft extending from the rotor and being rotatable around a first rotational axis. The final output shaft is configured to be rotationally driven around a second rotational axis by torque transmitted from the motor shaft. The tool body houses the motor and the final output shaft. The detection device is configured to detect a locking state of the final output shaft. The braking device is configured to directly act on the motor shaft to brake the motor shaft in response to detection of the locking state.

Power tool

A dust collection cup allows a bit tip to be viewable without being detached or replaced. A dust collection cup is attachable to a front cylindrical portion of a hammer drill. The dust collection cup in an attached state allows a bit attached to the front cylindrical portion to extend through the dust collection cup. The dust collection cup includes an attachment attachable to the front cylindrical portion, and a body connectable to the attachment. The body includes an extendable unit including at least a portion in an axial direction retaining a predetermined length.

A power tool, such as a hammer drill (), has first and second battery mount parts (A,B) that are aligned in a longitudinal direction of the power tool. First and second batteries (A,B) are mountable thereon in series along a straight line that extends in the longitudinal direction. The first battery (A) is mounted on the first battery mount part (A) by sliding along the straight line towards the second battery mount part (B). The second battery (B) is mounted on the second battery mount part (B) by sliding along the straight line towards the first battery mount part (A).

A driving tool comprises a cylinder extending in an up-down direction and a piston that moves downward within the cylinder due to a compressed gas to drive a driving member. The driving tool further comprises a main body housing that houses the cylinder and a grip extending rearward from a rear surface of the main body housing. The driving tool further comprises an upper chamber that is provided above the cylinder and communicates with the cylinder. The driving tool further comprises an air chamber that extends downward from the upper chamber and that extends only in an area on a right or left side of the main body housing with respect to both an axis center of the cylinder and an axis center of the grip.

A rotary shaft is spline coupled to a carrier of a final-stage planetary gear mechanism. A bearing for supporting the rotary shaft is arranged on an outer circumferential side of the carrier. The bearing and the carrier are arranged so as to overlap in a direction perpendicular to a motor axis.

A driving tool includes a piston, a driver, and a lift mechanism. The piston moves in a driving direction by a pressure of a gas. The driver extends from the piston and includes a plurality of engaged portions. The lift mechanism moves the driver in a direction opposite to the driving direction. The lift mechanism includes a rotation shaft, a wheel, a plurality of engaging portions, and a supporting member. The wheel rotates integrally with the rotation shaft. Each of the plurality of engaging portions may engage an engaged portion. The supporting member supports the wheel so the wheel is allowed to move between an initial position and an eccentric position in a radial direction of the rotation shaft.
