A multi-stage turbocharger includes a turbine housing including a first sub-housing that has a first turbine-wheel chamber and a second sub-housing that has a second turbine-wheel chamber arranged in series to the first turbine-wheel chamber, a first compressor housing coupled to the turbine housing via a first bearing housing, and a second compressor housing coupled to the turbine housing via a second bearing housing. The first sub-housing and the second sub-housing are formed integrally with each other.

Multi-stage turbocharger

A turbocharger includes: a bearing portion which is provided in a turbine housing; a shaft rotatably inserted into a bearing hole of the bearing portion; an attaching member fixed to the shaft; and a valve coupled to the shaft via the attaching member and configured to open and close a flow path opened to an internal space along with rotation of the shaft. The attaching member includes: a base portion provided with an insertion hole of the shaft; and an extension portion integrally formed with the base portion and extending from the base portion in a radial direction of the shaft to thereby hold the valve. The base portion is provided at least at a part of a range of the shaft in a circumferential direction of the shaft, and protrudes more in the radial direction of the shaft than the bearing portion.

Turbocharger

A turbocharger includes a bearing portion having an end as an inner end surface located within a turbine housing in a penetrating direction of a bearing hole; a shaft rotatably supported in the bearing hole, one end thereof located within the turbine housing and the other end thereof located outside the turbine housing; an attaching plate fixed to the shaft, including an inner facing surface facing the inner end surface in an axial direction of the shaft; and a valve coupled to the shaft via the attaching plate to open and close a flow path opened to an internal space of the turbine housing. An inner radial groove is formed in at least one of the inner end surface and the inner facing surface. The inner radial groove extends in the radial direction of the shaft to allow a part of an exhaust gas flowing within the turbine housing to flow therethrough.

A turbocharger includes: a turbine housing including an internal space formed therein; a bearing portion provided in the turbine housing; a shaft rotatably inserted into a bearing hole in a state where at least one end protrudes more to an inside of the turbine housing than the bearing portion; and a valve fixed to the shaft and configured to open and close a flow path opened to the internal space. The bearing portion includes a protrusion portion which protrudes from an inner wall of the turbine housing. The radial hole of the protrusion portion penetrates the bearing portion in a radial direction of the shaft, from the outer circumferential surface of the bearing portion to the bearing hole.

A paper conveyor for conveying paper includes a conveyor roll for conveying paper, a drive motor for driving and rotating the conveyor roll, a rotary follower roll for pressing onto the conveyor roll and for holding a paper and a convey direction switch mechanism for switching the conveying direction of the paper. The paper is conveyed in a predetermined direction by the conveyor roll and the rotary follower roll. When the conveying direction of the paper is changed to an opposite direction, the convey direction switch mechanism is adapted to control the follower roll so that the follower roll can be rocked from one direction to another with its axis of rocking coinciding with an axis of the conveyor roll. Therefore, the conveying direction of the paper can be changed very smoothly.

Cost counting apparatus wherein at each transaction a printing drum prints a consumed amount that is pre-set into the apparatus, a calculating section subtracts that amount from a balance that is initially set into an electronic memory, an electromechanical display section displays the resulting balance after each transaction and the positions of the elements of the display are communicated for use in restoring the balance information to memory in the event of power failure.

A gatherer comprises a generally cylindrical bin drum having circumferentially thereon a plurality of inclined shelves spaced apart each other for receiving papers. The gatherer further comprises a paper-size changing body and a switching means for the changing body. The gatherer thus constructed has a number of advantages, such as convenient and rapid introduction and discharge of the papers, accurate alignment of the papers, convenient and simple control of the introduction and the discharge of the papers through rotation direction of the bin drum and applicability to any paper size, as well as high performance with compact and simple construction and so forth.

A sheet sorting and stacking apparatus for sorting and storing sheet materials into plural storage positions, includes a pair of sheet conveyors for transporting sheet materials from a sheet entrance to the storage positions, an auxiliary member provided in the transport path and adapted to perform a swinging motion thereby being released together with one of the conveyors from the other so as to widen the space in the transport path and releasing device for releasing the auxiliary member upon detection of an abnormality in the sheet transport.

Sheet sorting and stacking apparatus

A dual-mode sheet sorting apparatus for sorting plural sheets into plural storage bins according to a predetermined order. The apparatus includes first bin members for storing sorted sheets, movable second bin members for storing sorted sheets and having a number corresponding to the number of the first bin members, and selecting device for selectively placing the second bin members in a storage position for receiving the sheets or in a retracted position in which the second bin members are retracted from the storage position, such that in a first operation mode the second bin members are displaced to the retracted position by the selecting device to allow sheet sorting into the first bin members, while in a second operation mode the second bin members are displaced to the storage position by the selecting device to allow sheet sorting into the second bin numbers in preference to the first bin members.
