In a waterproof slide fastener, fastener elements are formed using a synthetic resin which contains a silicone resin or a fluorine-based resin, and a water repellant agent is applied to waterproof tapes and the fastener elements and hence, the waterproof slide fastener can exhibit a water-repellent effect brought about by the waterproof tapes and a water-repellent effect brought about by the fastener elements. Accordingly, it is possible to properly prevent the intrusion of a liquid through a gap formed between the left and right fastener elements and a gap formed between the fastener element and the waterproof tape.

Waterproof slide fastener

A slide fastener includes a pair of first and second separable interfitting parts fixed to first and second fastener stringers. The first separable interfitting part includes a slider-holding part, and the second separable interfitting part is configured to be insertable/removable into/from the slider held on the slider-holding part through the tape insertion gap. A protruding part is arranged at a front end of the second separable interfitting part. A width dimension A of the protruding part, a dimension B between a back end of a side surface of the protruding part and an opposed end on a side opposite to the first separable interfitting part, and a dimension C between a guide post and a flange of the slider have a relationship of A&#x3c;C&#x3c;B.

A slide fastener, wherein in the fastener chain openable and closable from both ends thereof, a box pin and the insert pin, which can join with or separate from each other, are provided at least on an end of the fastener chain; and a protrusion facing the insert pin and projecting from an opposing face is provided at a front end of the box pin; the protrusion has slopes inclined in a direction of approaching the insert pin on upper and lower sides of the protrusion; and the lower side of the protrusion makes contact with a diamond of the reverse opening slider, while the upper side of the protrusion can guide the insert pin smoothly when the pin is inserted.

The invention provides a bottom end stop for a slide fastener having a sufficient strength and an excellent appearance, wherein bottom ends of fastener stringers provided with a first and a second member are inserted through shoulder mouths of a slider; the first and the second member slide along flanges of the slider respectively; while the first and the second member are rotated in the direction of approaching each other, coupling of a pair of coupling heads and coupling concave portions formed on opposing faces of the first and the second member can be carried out, also coupling of coupling heads and coupling concave portions can be carried out; and further, by setting the length of the second member having no engaging portion with a fastener element to be shorter than the length of the first member, rotation of the first and the second member can be carried out smoothly.

Bottom end stop for slide fastener

In a fastening device with tape, a synthetic resin first member is integrally molded on front and back surfaces of a tape having at least one attachment hole in such a manner as to hold an entire peripheral edge portion of the attachment hole of the tape and has an opening portion at a center thereof, and then a synthetic resin second member is attached, by molding or the like, to the first member along an inner peripheral surface of at least the opening portion of the first member and has an engaging portion to be engaged with an opposing fastener. By differentiating a material and a color of the first member from that of the second member, various kinds of fastening devices can be efficiently obtained such as a snap fastener, a male and female button, an eyelet, a fastening band which can be freely adjusted to be various kinds of lengths, a hanging device for curtains or the like which can be applied various kinds of functions and colors in comparison with the conventional art and which can be firmly adhered to the tape.

In a fastening device with tape, made of synthetic resin, the tape is composed of a warp knitting structure including an attachment area composed of one or more wales disposed at the right and left edge portions in a width direction of the tape, and a fastener-molding area composed of plural wales in a center portion in the width direction of the tape. The warp knitted tape is entirely composed of a knitting structure by tangling of two needle stitch yarns and weft in-laid yarns. A chain stitch yarn is further knitted into the attachment area so as to suppress the stretching property an stabilize dimensional form in the warp direction of the attachment area. In the fastener-molding area, a predetermined stretching property in the warp direction and some extent of stability in dimensional form are secured. The fastening device can be adapted well to an attachment object such as clothes having a stretching property and may be engaged or disengaged securely and accurately. Further, continuous smooth molding of the device can be enabled, and an attachment performance to clothes by sewing can be smoothly carried out.

Fastening device with tape

A tape of the fastening device made of synthetic resin is composed of an attachment area formed of one or more wales disposed at right and left edge portions of the tape in the width direction thereof and a fastener-molding area formed of plural wales in a center portion in the width direction. The warp knitted tape is entirely composed of a knitting structure formed by tangling of tricot stitch yarns and single cord stitch yarns, and chain stitch yarns are further knitted in the fastener-molding area so as to suppress stretching property in a warp direction of the area to a maximum extent and ensure a dimensional stability. The attachment area is composed of a knitting structure having required stretching property in its warp direction and some extent of stability in the dimensional form. Therefore, the fastening device with tape can be sewed to and along a curved line easily and can be adapted to an attachment object having stretching property well. Further, it allows engagement and disengagement of its fasteners securely and accurately, and enables continuous smooth molding of the fasteners made of synthetic resin onto the tape.

A fastener with tape has fastening members of synthetic resin molded integrally and firmly on front and rear surfaces of the tape so as to enclose an entire peripheral portion of a mounting hole of the tape having at least a mounting hole. The fastening members are made of synthetic resin material to which fine inorganic filler is added. The stiffness and the elasticity of the fastening members change depending on the kind and the addition amount of the inorganic filler. Therefore, when even if the melting point of the resin material for use is high so that a produced fastener can bear high temperature treatment but the stiffness and elasticity thereof are low, it is possible to provide a fastener with tape capable of not only bearing high temperature treatment but also having predetermined stiffness and elasticity, and also having an excellent wear resistance, by adjusting an amount of the inorganic filler to be added to the synthetic resin material

The present invention provides a slide fastener in which a normal engaging state of engaging elements can be maintained, even if right and left tensile loads are applied to the engaged elements having an engaging male portion and an engaging female portion which can be engaged with and disengaged from each other in upward and downward directions. The engaging element having the engaging male portion has a tape mounting portion at one end thereof an arc-shaped fitting face at an inner face of the tape mounting portion, and a projecting engaging tongue at an upper portion of the element, at a lower face of which a column is formed to have an engaging head is formed at a tip end thereof. A recessed groove is defined in the head, thereby providing resilience. The engaging element having the engaging female portion has a tape mounting portion at an end thereof, a vertical fitting face at an inner face of the tape mounting portion, a projecting engaging tongue at a lower portion of the element. An engaging hole is defined in the engaging portion. A lock portion is formed at a lower face of the engaging hole for engagement with the engaging head. The engaging head of the engaging male portion and the lock portion of the engaging female portion are engaged with each other.
