A photosensitive coloring composition comprising C.I. pigment yellow 150 which yields an extract in an amount of 1% by weight or less when subjected to extraction with tetrahydrofuran, other pigments, a solvent, a (meth)acrylic resin, a polyfunctional monomer, and a photopolymerization initiator. The photosensitive coloring composition is excellent in fluidity, anti-agglomeration property, anti-crystallization property, coloring power and the like, and, with the photosensitive coloring composition, images having superior sharpness when developed with an aqueous alkaline solution can be formed, and color filters having high uniformity, low surface coarseness and high coloring power, as well as liquid crystal display panels can be obtained steadily.

Coloring compositions for use in the formation of transparent colored micro-patterns are provided. They comprise colorants, thermosetting or photosensitive resin materials and extenders having an average particle size of not more than 300 nm. The compositions are useful for the fabrication of color filters to be used for display elements such as liquid crystal display (LCD) and solid state imaging devices such as charge-coupled device (CCD). The formed patterns have lower fluctuation in colored layer thickness all over the patterns, superior layer flatness, color levelness and sharpness of pattern boundaries, as well as large purity, clarity and color brightness.

A system for processing chromatographic data which comprises an input for data representative of two chromatograms x and y, a memory for storing the inputted data of the chromatograms, and a computer operative to read out, from the memory, retention times x.sub.i and y.sub.i (i=1, . . . , n; n.gtoreq.2) of at least two principal peaks of the chromatograms, respectively, and derive one function for converting the retention times x.sub.i to y.sub.i using the chromatogram y as the reference chromatogram, which gives a minimum estimated error. The computer is further operative to calculate, on the basis of the derived function, the modified retention time x'.sub.j of all the peaks of the chromatogram x. Therefore, the system permits to eliminate errors orginated from the judgment of a skilled person and to indentify and quantitatively analyze chromatogram obtained precisely without skill.

An aqueous liquid dye composition containing 10 to 50 parts by weight of C.I. Reactive Blue 19, 1 to 40 parts by weight of a condensation product of formaldehyde with naphthalenesulfonic acid which may be alkylated, 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 9 to 20, and 20 to 80 parts by weight of water. This liquid dye composition has a good storage stability, and shows a sufficient solubility in an aqueous alkali liquor so that it is particularly suitable for dyeing cellulosic fibers by a one-bath pad-batch method.

A dye composition containing C.I. Reactive Blue 19 and an alkylnaphthalenesulfonic acid/formaldehyde condensate, which is very readily soluble in water and aqueous alkaline liquors and useful for dyeing natural and regenerated cellulose fibers with high color yield, particularly in accordance with a one-bath pad dyeing method.
