This relay unit includes: a first bus bar; a relay electrically connected to the first bus bar; and an apparatus cover for covering the first bus bar and the relay. The apparatus cover includes: an upper member in a box shape having a covered upper end, the upper member having an opening formed in a lower end; and a lower member bonded to the upper member such that the opening of the upper member is covered with the lower member. The lower member is formed of a resin having heat conductivity that is higher than that of the upper member. The first bus bar is connected to the lower member via a first inner heat conductive sheet such that heat can be transferred to the lower member, said first inner heat conductive sheet being disposed between the first bus bar and the lower member.

Relay unit

An electrical connection box mounted on a vehicle and used for connecting a plurality of on-board loads to an on-board power supply, comprising: a box main body that is provided with an opening at a side and that accommodates an electrical component for the connecting; a cover body that covers the opening and that is provided with a protrusion portion protruding outward beyond the opening; an insertion hole that is provided a side wall of the box main body and that allows for insertion of an electric wire to be connected to the electrical component; and an extension portion that extends outward from a portion of the protrusion portion corresponding to the insertion hole and that bends arcuately.

A novel wire harness connecting structure for a housed circuit assembly is provided. The connecting structure is able to electrically connect a wire harness and a circuit assembly housed in a housing to each other, using a small number of parts, with high space efficiency. The wire harness connecting structure for housed circuit assemblies is used to electrically connect wire harnesses to circuit assemblies housed in a housing, wherein through holes are provided in a wall of the housing, circuit assembly connectors that are provided in the circuit assemblies face the through holes, and harness end connectors that are provided at ends of the wire harnesses are configured to be inserted into the through holes of the housing and to be connected to the circuit assembly connectors of the circuit assemblies.

Wiring harness connecting structure for housed circuit assembly

A wire harness connecting structure for two circuit assemblies is provided. The structure allows a wire harness to be easily connected to two circuit assemblies with high space efficiency, and can reduce noise in the wire harness. A first connection terminal is provided in a first circuit assembly and a second connection terminal is provided in a second circuit assembly are located adjacent to each other. Two electrical wire-side connection terminals are respectively provided at an end of a first electrical wire and an end of a second electrical wire are housed and positioned in a shared connector housing, and thus a single harness end connector is formed. A wire harness is constituted by the first electrical wire and the second electrical wire. The electrical wire-side connection terminals of the wire harness are configured to be electrically connected to the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal.

Wire harness connecting structure for two circuit assemblies

Provided is an electrical junction box configured promptly release the electrical junction box from a state where water has intruded therein, thereby preventing the occurrence of a vehicle fire due to submersion. An internal circuit includes a high-voltage circuit bus bar and a low-voltage circuit bus bar having a lower potential than the high-voltage circuit bus bar, and a lower case includes a bottom wall and a peripheral wall protruding from a peripheral edge portion of the bottom wall toward an upper case. A high-voltage circuit region where the high-voltage circuit bus bar is disposed, a low-voltage circuit region where the low-voltage circuit bus bar is disposed, and a dividing wall divides these regions are provided inside the peripheral wall, and a height dimension of the dividing wall from the bottom wall is configured to be greater than a height dimension of the peripheral wall from the bottom wall.

An electrical junction box includes an electrical junction box main body having a mount portion and a separate attachment body removably attached to the mount portion, a pair of connectors are respectively provided on opposing surfaces of the mount portion and the attachment body are connected to each other, and a vibration suppressing member is between the opposing surfaces, the vibration suppressing member suppressing vibration of the attachment body by exerting a frictional force on the opposing surfaces.

A first case is integrally provided with a connection housing open to a side of the first case. A second case is integrally provided with a support base projecting toward the first case and facing inside the connection housing from a window provided in the connection housing. A bus bar included in a connection terminal disposed inside the connection housing is provided along the support base and is interposed between the support base and the first case, and is positioned in a projecting direction of the connection terminal.

A connector housing conducting power to a coil is integrated straddling adjacent relay housings on external peripheral surfaces thereof and utilizing a peripheral wall of the adjacent relay housings, the adjacent relay housings being separated by and sharing a partition wall as a portion of a wall portion. A bus bar straddling the connector housing and the adjacent relay housings forms a conductive path from an external power supply terminal provided in the connector housing to a relay coil power supply terminal provided in each of the adjacent relay housings.

In a locking structure for a clamp, the clamp is formed with a projecting component to be fixed to a counterpart member through a through hole of the counterpart member via locking wings. A base plate section is equipped with a coupling step section which can engage the through hole and contact the entire inner peripheral surface of the through hole Pa. The locking structure can prevent the clamp from rotating by making the through hole of the counterpart member in an elongated shape while making the base in an elliptical shape.

An electrical connection box for a vehicle has a body and a power distribution element. A portion of the body upstanding from one face receives, in use, an electrical component such as a relay which at a fastening location is joined to the distribution element. A casing covers the component receiving portion. To reduce the risk of accidental contact with the fastening location, the box has a removable U-shaped cover covering the fastening location, the cover being enclosed within the casing. The cover has an aperture through which the electrical component projects, and the periphery of the aperture may contact the component receiving portion or the electrical component.

An electrical connection box having a wire guide projecting outwardly from its front and capable of receiving a wire harness. There is at least one opening through the wire guide or through a ring attached thereto which receives a tying band wrapped around the wire harness and the wire guide and extending through the opening. As a result, when the band is tightened, the wire harness is secured to the wire guide. The tying band is a strap with an enlarged head at one end with a hole therethrough. The other end passes around the wire harness and wire guide and through the opening. It then enters the hole and is retained by friction or a combination of a ratchet and a pawl.

An accommodation block for connection of electrical components is mounted in an electrical connection box, e.g. of a vehicle. In the vicinity of each lengthwise end of side walls of the block body, there is formed an insertion guide extending downward from an upper end connected with the upper edge of the side wall. The guides are received in engagement elements of the box. The lower ends of the insertion guides are located below the lower end of the block body to improve visual observation during insertion into the box. A clamp is arranged below the block body. A protection rib for protecting the clamp is extended down from the lower end of one side wall.

A structure for securing electrical contact between connecting sections of a wire harness includes a wall with a hole therethrough and a projection having a hollow. The projection extends from a rim of the hole and the hollow is in communication therewith. There is a cover which closes the end of the projection remote from the rim. There is a plurality of connecting sections on one or more wire harnesses and an insulative cap is placed thereover. The hollow is adapted to receive the cap and connection sections and an opening is provided in the cover. This permits introduction of a resilient cap, which will secure the connecting sections within the hollow and allows otherwise trapped air to escape readily through the opening. This simplifies both production and assembly.
