A foldable camera for self-developing film comprises a base housing and a movable member pivotable between a closed position integrated with the housing and an open, elevated position above the housing. The movable member is mounted to a supporting member which is pivotally coupled to the housing at the end opposite from the film exit end of the housing. An objective lens and a reflex mirror are fixedly mounted to the movable member in fixed relationship to each other such that they are in the proper positions for film exposure when the movable member is pivotted to the elevated position.

There is disclosed a release device of a camera simple in structure and enabling the camera of 'one shot' and successive photographings. The release device comprises a conventional self-cocking mechanism and a locking and unlocking member in addition. The locking and unlocking member is operated by a member movable in response to film winding operation and actuates a shutter release member to release the release member when the film winding operation is completed.

In this light recorder built-in camera, the light of a main light source is projected and recorded at a position corresponding to an object image-projected face of a color film and when a color print is formed from a positive color photosensitive material, by using the density of the light of the main light source obtained by subjecting the color film to a development treatment, exposure quantities of blue, green and red colors are determined.
