A strobe device, including: a strobe circuit board; a connecting conductor composed of a wire member; and a strobe emitting portion which includes; a) a light emitting tube, having electrode terminals on its both ends, b) a reflector for reflecting strobe light emitted by the light emitting tube toward a photographic object and c) a transmission window for covering a front surface of the reflector and for transmitting the strobe light. In the strobe device, the connecting conductor has a contact with the light emitting tube and electricity is supplied to the light emitting tube through the connecting conductor.

Strobe device of lens-fitted film unit and production method of the strobe device

A lens-fitted film unit and production thereof, wherein lens-fitted film unit has a front cover, a rear cover, a main body and a magazine chamber lid to take out a film magazine from a film magazine chamber located in the main body, below the film magazine chamber and at the bottom surface of the lens-fitted film unit. The front cover, rear cover and main body have respectively a rib, and the surrounding of the lower portion of the film magazine chamber is surrounded by the rib of the front cover, the rib of the rear cover and the rib of the main body. After the rear cover is attached, the film magazine chamber lid is attached so that the magazine chamber lid is fixed to the front and rear cover and is not fixed to the main body.

In a lens-fitted film unit with a built-in strobe, when photographing is conducted with strobe light, a strobe unit takes a first attitude in which a strobe panel is directed to a subject being photographed, while when photographing is conducted without the strobe light or when photographing is not conducted, the strobe unit takes a second attitude in which the strobe panel is directed almost downward, a strobe frame is rotated so as to change from the first attitude to the second attitude or from the second attitude to the first attitude, a portion or an entire portion of a print base board is located beneath the strobe panel when the strobe unit takes the second attitude, a front cover has a protruded first wall section to hide at least the portion of the print base board located beneath the strobe panel when the strobe unit takes the second attitude.

A dry battery includes a cylindrical housing, a first end plate and an electrode. The electrode protrudes from the first end plate and includes a tip end plate and a cylindrical side wall. A first contactor of an electrical power source circuit is arranged to come in contact with a part of the first conductive surface other than the tip end plate.

In a lens holding device, a plurality of protrusions of equal height are provided oppositely at the front and rear of the periphery of a plastic photographic lens. The plurality of protrusions are substantially equidistant. Three sets of stairs, each having a plurality of steps with a predetermined difference in height between adjacent steps, are provided at positions corresponding to the protrusions in a lens receiving member and a lens pressing member, between which the lens is sandwiched. The position of the lens can be adjusted from a most advanced position to a most retreated position along the optical axis by selecting a preferred step of each of the stairs.
