An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes a display layer including a first non-light-emitting area in which a pixel-defining layer surrounding a light-emitting area is arranged, and a second non-light-emitting area further including a spacer on the pixel-defining layer; a light shield layer including a first black matrix and a second matrix covering the first non-light-emitting area and the second non-light-emitting area, respectively, and having different dielectric constants; and a touchscreen electrode including a touch electrode on a position corresponding to the first black matrix and the second matrix.

A display device includes a display panel, a wavelength control layer disposed on the display panel, a light control member disposed on the wavelength control layer, and a cover layer disposed on the light control member. The light control member includes an inorganic layer disposed on the wavelength control layer and having a first refractive index, a first light control layer disposed on the inorganic layer and having a second refractive index, a second light control layer disposed on the first light control layer and having a third refractive index, and a color filter layer disposed on the second light control layer. A display panel may include a first display substrate and a second display substrate on the first display substrate. The second display substrate may include a plurality of pixel regions and a peripheral region adjacent to the pixel regions. The second display substrate may include a first color control pattern configured to emit light of a first color, a second color control pattern spaced apart from the first color control pattern in a first direction and configured to emit light of a second color different from the first color, and first and second light-blocking patterns in the peripheral region between the first and second color control patterns. The first and second light-blocking patterns may be spaced apart from each other, in a second direction crossing the first direction, to define a gap region.

Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device for processing a message and a method for operating the same. The electronic device comprises a display, a wireless communication circuit, a processor operatively connected to the communication circuit and to the display, and a memory operatively connected to the processor. The memory stores a first application program, which is a short message service (SMS) application program, and a second application program, which is a non-SMS application program. The memory may comprise instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: receive a push notification from an external server through the communication circuit by using the second application program, the push notification indicating a message regarding the first application program; transmit a request regarding the message to the external server through the communication circuit by using the second application program; receive the message from the external server through the communication circuit by using the second application program; provide the message to the first application program by using the second application program; and display the message by using the user interface of the first application program. Other embodiments are also possible.
