An example roller is provided. The example roller can include an outer layer having a cylindrical shape, wherein the outer layer extends between a first end and a second end. The example roller can include a first bearing disposed at the first end. The example roller can include a second bearing disposed at the second end. The example roller can include a corrugated plastic filling, wherein the outer layer is wrapped around the corrugated plastic filling.

An example roller is provided. The example roller can include a metal tube extending between a first end and a second end, where the metal tube includes an outer surface and an inner surface. The example roller can include a first bearing disposed at the first end. The example roller can include a second bearing disposed at the second end. An example transfer apparatus includes a bed having a first plurality of balls and a second plurality of balls having a first and second diameter, respectively, and wherein at least one of the first plurality of balls and at least one of the second plurality of balls are configured to rotate relative to the bed, wherein at least one belt of the plurality of belts is operably engaged with the at least one ball of the first plurality of balls or the at least one ball of the second plurality of balls; and a driver operably connected to the at least one belt of the plurality of belts, wherein the driver is configured to power the at least one belt of the plurality of belts.

A temperature sensor includes a polymer body for mounting the sensor to a mounting surface and positioning a temperature sensing element within a target fluid. The temperature sensing element may be positioned at the distal end of the polymer body and may be sealed from the fluid by a metal cap filled with a thermally conductive material. In this manner, the polymer body may thermally insulate the temperature sensing element and lead conductors within the polymer body from the mounting surface. The polymer body may also include a connector on the proximal end to facilitate an electrical connection with the temperature sensing element, a flange to install the sensor against the mounting surface, and a fixation surface configured to mate with the mounting surface. In some examples, the polymer body may be constructed in two stages to facilitate different configurations of the connector, flange, and/or fixation surface.
