A joint fitting for a motor vehicle seat may have a first fitting part with a first sprocket and a second fitting part with a second sprocket. The fitting may also have a gear which rolls in the first sprocket and in the second sprocket to generate a rotational movement between the two sprockets. The fitting may also have an eccentric which is arranged between the first fitting part and the gear for driving a rolling movement of the gear in the first sprocket. The eccentric may have two wedge segments and a spring which pushes the wedge segments apart. An additional eccentric is arranged between the second fitting part and the gear for removing a play between the gear and the second sprocket. The additional eccentric may have two wedge segments. A vehicle seat having at least one such gearing fitting is also provided.

An adjustment fitting for a vehicle seat for adjusting an inclination of a backrest of the vehicle seat may have a first fitting part connectable to a seat substructure of the vehicle seat. The fitting may also have a second fitting part pivotable about an axis relative to the first fitting part and connectable to the backrest of the vehicle seat. The first fitting part and the second fitting part may be constituent parts both of a gearing unit of the adjustment fitting and of a locking unit of the adjustment fitting.

An adjustment fitting for adjusting an inclination of a backrest of the vehicle seat may have a first fitting part, and a second fitting part which is pivotable about a central axis of rotation relative to the first fitting part and is connectable to the backrest of the vehicle seat. A device for the axial fixation of a shaft in a component including a groove which is defined on the shaft and a securing device configured to releasably engage the groove. The axial force is required for releasing the securing device being able to be altered depending on the rotational position of the securing device relative to the shaft. The device may be coupled to an armrest of a vehicle seat.
