An exhaust gas treatment assembly for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a housing having a circumferential wall and at least one base wall which in an external circumferential region is connected to the circumferential wall. In a housing interior space, which is defined by the circumferential wall and the base wall, at least one exhaust gas treatment unit is positioned so as to be removable from the housing. At least one base wall is an interchangeable base wall which is releasably connected to the circumferential wall via a connection assembly. The connection assembly includes a first connection portion, a first axial support portion, and on the base wall includes a second connection portion which via at least one connection member is releasably connected to the first connection portion and a second axial support portion is supported on the first axial support portion.

Exhaust gas treatment assembly

An exhaust gas treatment assembly for an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine includes a housing defining a longitudinal axis. A first exhaust gas treatment unit is inserted in the housing and has a first casing and at least one first exhaust gas treatment unit carried in the first casing. A second exhaust gas treatment unit is inserted in the housing and has a second casing and at least one second exhaust gas treatment unit carried therein. A locking arrangement is for locking a first exhaust gas treatment unit in the housing at least against movement in the direction of the longitudinal axis in a locked state, wherein, when the first exhaust gas treatment unit and the second exhaust gas treatment unit are inserted in the housing, the locking arrangement is blocked in the locked state by the second exhaust gas treatment unit.

Exhaust gas treatment assembly for an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine

An exhaust gas treatment device (), for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, is equipped with a housing (). At least one mounting pipe (), which contains a mounting space (), is arranged within the housing. At least one cartridge () is arranged replaceably in the mounting space () and has a cartridge pipe () as well as at least one exhaust gas treatment element () arranged in the cartridge pipe (). The cartridge pipe () is supported axially under axial prestress at an annular step () at least on an axial front side () via at least one spring element ().

Exhaust gas treatment device

An exhaust system injection section () includes an exhaust gas flow channel (), a laterally arranged injector connection (), with a fluid introducing injector () and an injection chamber () formed in the channel, which is delimited by a perforated first separating wall (), arranged in the channel upstream of the injector connection, and a perforated second separating wall () arranged in the channel downstream of the injector connection. To provides intensive mixing of the injected fluid with the exhaust gas flow a perforation () of the first separating wall () is configured so that exhaust gas largely flows eccentrically through the first separating wall () with respect to a longitudinal center axis () of the channel and a perforation () of the second separating wall () is configured so that exhaust gas largely flows concentrically through the second separating wall () with respect to the longitudinal center axis ().

Exhaust gas aftertreatment device with injection section

An exhaust gas treatment device () includes a combustion waste gas inlet pipe (), an outlet pipe, an essentially gas-tight inner housing () fluidically connected with the inlet pipe and fluidically connected with the outlet pipe. The inner housing receives a particle filter (). A connection element () is arranged in a connection area () of the inner housing. The connection area fluidically faces the outlet pipe (), for mechanically connecting the particle filter with the inner housing. An oxidation catalytic converter () is arranged upstream of the particle filter in the inner housing for catalyzing an oxidation reaction of the combustion waste gas. A counterpressure monitoring point () is provided fluidically between the oxidation catalytic converter and the connection element for measuring a counterpressure exerted by the particle filter during the operation of the treatment device. An internal combustion engine () is provided with the treatment device.
