Hartford loop manifold assembly installed in operable communication with an air control assembly in a whirlpool bathing system. The manifold assembly includes a tubular manifold housing having a coupling member in intussusceptible relation therewith. The manifold housing has an elongate body and an elongate wall coextensive with an upper body proximate extent and a lower body distal extent thereof. The elongate wall includes an internal manifold wall delineating a reception lumen that accommodates insertion of the coupling member therein. The internal manifold wall is disposed by a predetermined distance from an external manifold wall in parallel therewith to define a flow area therebetween. The external manifold wall has at least one outlet depending generally normally therefrom. Each outlet has a lumen defined therethrough for unoccluded fluid communication between each manifold flow area and at least one conduit detachably coupled to each outlet extent.

Hartford loop manifold assembly for bathing vessels

A mounting assembly is disclosed for mounting an object, such as a valve or a spa jet about an aperture in a wall such as a bath or shower wall. The assembly has the advantage that the object can be mounted such that it projects a predetermined distance from the front surface of the wall and can be secured to the wall by rotating a member on the front side of the wall. The invention also provides a valve assembly having relief between sealing surfaces to prevent the valve member seizing.

Mounting assembly and method

A rotary spray nozzle is provided in a housing which has one or more water inlets that direct the incoming water flow in a direction tangential to the inner walls of the housing. This creates a circular or swirling motion of water within the housing which in turn imparts a rotary motion to the nozzle. The liquid or water in the housing exits the housing through the rotating nozzle to thereby provide a rotary spray.

Rotary shower nozzle

A pneumatic operator for an air switch is provided. The operator is used to deliver at pulse of relatively high pressure air to an air switch, such as an air switch which would be commonly used in a spa bath or spa pool installation to operate a pump. The operator has a cylindrical plunger within which is provided a stationary body and an O-ring on an outer surface of the stationary body provides a seal between the stationary body and the plunger. Depression of the plunger expels the air from the apparatus to operate an air switch. When the plunger is returning to its original position, the seal can move to allow air from the surrounding environment to enter the space between the plunger and the stationary body.

Air switch operator

A nozzle mounting has a body with air and water passageways including a nozzle member for discharging a mixture of air and water. The nozzle member has outer walls of spherical form surrounding a passageway through the nozzle so that the nozzle may be manually rocked by a user to direct the flow of mixed air and water in a desired direction. Air inlets are provided in the walls of the nozzle so that air from the air passageway in the body is entrained in water passing through the passageway in the nozzle so that the nozzle passageway is not altered in its selected disposition by the discharge of the mixture of air and water through the passageway.
