To provide a transfer tool that can be preferably used without a table such as a desk and can easily carry out the transfer operation in any places, the transfer tool includes a transfer tool main body () and a transferred object receiver () that is accompanied by the transfer tool main body (), wherein an insertion space (AS) in which a paper slip (P) can be inserted is formed between the transfer tool main body () and the transferred object receiver (); a transfer head (H) is positioned so that at least a transfer face (RTa) of the transfer head (H) is exposed in the insertion space (AS); and a tape glue (T) is transferred on the paper slip (P) by slidably moving the transfer face (RTa) in a predetermined transfer direction while bringing the transfer face (RTa) into contact with the paper slip (P) with the paper slip (P) inserted in the insertion space (AS) and the paper slip (P) sandwiched between the transfer tool main body () and the transferred object receiver ().

In a transferring device (A) structured such that a paste (Tb) is transferred to a paper strip (P) by being slid in a predetermined transferring direction in a state in which the paper strip (P) is pinched between a transferring device main body () and a transferred object receiving cradle (), the transferring device is provided with a guide surface () guiding the paper strip (P) in the same direction as a transferring direction by being brought into contact with an edge portion (Pa), and a deflection upper roller () energizing the paper strip (P) toward the guide surface () at a time of the sliding movement by being arranged so as to be deflected at a predetermined angle toward the guide surface () from the transferring direction.

In order to provide a good transferable and extremely usable transfer tool in which consumable supplies can be easily replaced while increasing rigidity in use and case assembling procedure is also simple, the transfer tool (A) includes a case body () which incorporates a transfer material (T), the case body () having a first case () for holding replacement parts including at least the transfer material (T); and a second case () engageable with and disengageable from the first case (), for holding unchangeable parts constituting at least a part of feeding mechanism parts which feeds out the transfer material (T) to a transferred object, wherein a holding portion (K) for holding the case body () to a base () in a state where the first case () and the second case () are engaged, and a pivoting support portion (L) for pivotably supporting the second case () to the base () between a use position (P) in which the case body () is held to the base () by the holding portion (K) and a releasing retention position (Q) in which a holding state held by the holding portion (K) is released to enable the first case () and the second case () to be engageable/disengageable are formed.

To provide a transfer tool which realizes both of a mode of transferring a transferring object of any dimension and a mode of continuously transferring the transferring object by a certain dimension, there is provided an operating part () which functions as a feeding mechanism (X) for feeding a paper (P) by a certain dimension in a counter-transfer direction by rotating an auxiliary roller (R) in a use state (O) and a switching mechanism (Z) for selectively switching a feeding state (x) by the action by the feeding mechanism (X) and a normal use state (y) where the feeding state (x) is released still in the use state (O).

A transfer tool has a transfer tool main body including a case and a transfer head for applying tape. It also may include a cover housing a rotating shaft configured to engage the case and enable the cover to rotate about the rotating shaft such that the transfer head is exposed when the cover is in an open position and the transfer head is covered by the cover in a closed position. The transfer tool also may includes a latching structure for latching the cover and the transfer tool main body. The latching structure may be located proximate to the rotating shaft and may include complementary concave and convex portions housed on the transfer tool main body and the cover. The cover may be latched to the transfer tool main body in the open, closed and other predetermined positions.

An engaging device is provided which is capable of advantageous switchover from an engaging position to an open position. Also provided is a transfer instrument employing the structure of such an engaging device. The transfer instrument (A) includes the engaging device (X) which is capable of gradually moving an engaging surface () widthwise of an engaging surface () to retract two engaging components relative to each other by pivotally moving a dangling wall () of a transfer instrument body () and a sidewall () of an arm () relative to each other to press a sliding contact edge () against a guide edge () gradually from a first end portion () toward an opposite second end portion () of the guide edge ().
