A display device is provided and includes a plurality of drive electrodes; a mesh-patterned first shield electrode comprising a plurality of first openings and a first electrode portion located between the first openings adjacent to each other, an area of the first electrode portion being greater than an area of the first openings; and a first power line provided with a predetermined voltage, wherein the first openings and the first electrode portion overlap the first power line.

A display device is provided and includes touch panel including first substrate, detection electrodes located in a detection area on first substrate, and outer peripheral lines provided in peripheral area on first substrate and electrically connected to detection electrodes; display panel overlapping touch panel in plan view; insulating layer covering detection electrodes and having surface facing display panel; protection film overlapping outer peripheral lines and provided on surface of insulating layer; polarizer disposed between insulating layer and display panel; and insulating material contacting surface of insulating layer between protection film and polarizer, side surface of protection film and side surface of polarizer, and not directly contacting detection electrodes.

Display device

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display panel which displays an image, a touch panel provided on the display panel and including a sensor area in which a plurality of electrodes for detecting touch operation are provided and a peripheral area provided around the sensor area, a controller which controls the plurality of electrodes, lead lines provided in the peripheral area to connect the electrodes provided in the sensor area to the controller and a conductive layer provided in a region which overlaps at least part of the lead lines.

A display device is provided and includes a touch panel including a first substrate, a detection electrode located in a sensor area on the first substrate; an insulating layer covering the detection electrode, a display panel comprising a polarizer opposed to the touch panel; and an insulating material overlapping the detection electrode, contacting the insulation layer and a side surface of the polarizer, and not contacting the detection electrode.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate including drive electrodes, a second substrate facing the first substrate and including detection electrodes, and a mesh-patterned first shield electrode arranged in a non-display region in the second substrate. The first shield electrode has a first opening and an island-shaped first electrode portion.

According to one embodiment, a display device including a touch panel, a display panel opposed to the touch panel and an insulating material is provided. The touch panel includes a first substrate which is provided throughout a sensor area and a peripheral area, a first electrode and a second electrode, and an opposed portion which is located in an outermost periphery of the sensor area and where the first electrode and the second electrode are opposed to each other. The insulating material is located in a region overlapping the opposed portion or on a peripheral area side with respect to the opposed portion and contacts the touch panel and the display panel.
