A magazine configured to hold a plurality of projectiles is disclosed. The magazine can be used with a toy projectile launcher. A toy projectile launcher configured to launch a plurality of projectiles therefrom is also disclosed. The toy projectile launcher having: a housing; and a magazine movably secured to a housing of the toy projectile launcher, the magazine including a plurality of chambers, each of the chambers being configured to hold one of the plurality of the projectiles therein, the magazine having a surface that is engageable by the toy projectile launcher to align and to move the magazine relative to the housing.

A toy configured to operate in two modes of operation wherein projectiles are launched from different portions of the toy depending upon which mode of operation the toy is in, the toy having: a housing with a forward pistol grip portion and a rearward pistol grip portion, the rearward pistol grip portion being movably mounted to the housing for movement between a first position to a second position; a mode selector switch movably mounted to the housing for movement from a first position to a second position; wherein movement of the rearward pistol grip portion between the first position and the second position launches a projectile from one portion of the toy when the mode selector switch is in the first position; and wherein movement of the rearward pistol grip portion between the first position and the second position launches a projectile from another portion of the toy when the mode selector switch is in the second position.

Projectile launcher and method of operating the same

A corner booster for accelerating toy vehicles includes an entrance to which a toy vehicle enters the booster, and an exit from which the toy vehicle exits the booster. The entrance and exit are orientated so that the toy vehicle turns when traveling from the entrance to the exit. The corner booster further includes a booster member for applying a force to the toy vehicle. The force applied by the booster member increases the speed of the toy vehicle as the toy vehicle travels from the entrance to the exit. The corner booster includes a cocking mechanism that cocks the booster member with preloaded mechanical energy. The preloaded mechanical energy is used to move the booster member to apply the boosting force to the toy vehicle.

Disclosed herein is a toy, the toy having: a main body portion; a first leg pivotally secured to the main body portion for reciprocating movement between a forward position and a rearward position with respect to the main body portion; a first foot pivotally secured to the first leg; a second leg pivotally secured to the main body portion for reciprocating movement between a forward position and a rearward position with respect to the main body portion; and a second foot pivotally secured to the second leg, wherein the first foot is spring biased with respect to the first leg and the second foot is spring biased with respect to the second leg such that a center of mass of the toy is intermittently aligned with and supported solely by either the first foot or the second foot as the first leg and the second leg move between the forward position and the rearward position.

A booster for accelerating toy vehicles. The booster includes a rotation source and first and second wheels operatively coupled to the rotation source. Each wheel includes a thin-walled member configured to engage toy vehicles passing between the wheels as the rotation source rotates the wheels in opposite directions. The thin walled member is characterized by an S-shape that allows the relative distance between the wheels to change, thereby accommodating differently sized vehicles.
