A multiple part electronic device is disclosed, the device comprising a first housing portion, a second housing portion, a connecting element that mechanically couples the first housing portion to the second housing portion, and a haptic element configured to induce a haptic effect arranged in at least one of the first housing portion or the second housing portion. The haptic element is in direct contact with the connecting element. The connecting element is a haptics guiding element configured to transmit the haptic effect between the first housing portion and the second housing portion.

A method for controlling the handling of push type e-mails on a mobile terminal device comprises at least one user profile regarding handling of push type e-mails. Method and device for handling push type e-mails for a mobile terminal device according to a user profile

A telecommunications system comprising an arrangement for controlling a multicall over a transmission path between a telecommunications network and a subscriber terminal. A multicall may have three different bearer configurations: each call of the multicall has a dedicated bearer, or one bearer is shared by all calls of the multicall, or the multicall has both dedicated and shared bearers. When a shared bearer is used, a user can have several independent calls in parallel, which have to alternate in using the bearer, or in some situations, use it simultaneously. The network is arranged to set up any new call in an existing multicall, according to a criterion, either by (i) setting up said new call on a new bearer, or (ii) setting up said new call on an existing bearer so that said existing bearer is shared by at least two calls.

Control of a multicall in a telecommunications system

The invention relates to selection of the implementation of a service, and particularly to selection of the implementation of a supplementary service in a mobile communication system, in a situation where a user can use different terminals the properties of which vary. In the solution of the invention, at least two different implementations are defined for a service, the terminal requirements of which differ from each other. The implementation of the service is selected (, and) on the basis of the properties of the terminal used. Thus the implementation of the services is made as optimal and flexible as possible by implementing each service function at the most useful location considering the properties of the terminal and network.

A radio handset comprises a housing having a key pad including a plurality of keys mounted on a main body and an extending portion mounted for movement between a first position in which a group of the plurality of keys are concealed and a second position in which the group of the plurality of keys are exposed. A processor answers a call in response to movement of the extending portion.
