An electrical connector and assembly are provided. The electrical connector includes an insulative base and terminal columns. Each terminal column includes ground terminals and differential signal terminal pairs, the terminal columns are spaced apart from each other. Each ground terminal has a body portion and three elastic contact portions. Each signal terminal of each differential signal terminal pair has a body portion and an elastic contact portion. In two adjacent terminal columns, orthographic projections of the two elastic contact portions of each differential signal terminal pair are positioned within a range defined by a width of the elastic contact portions of the corresponding ground terminal, and an orthographic projection of the elastic contact portion positioned in a middle of each around terminal in the second direction is positioned within a range defined by a width of the two elastic contact portions of the corresponding differential signal terminal pair.

Electrical connector and electrical connector assembly

A connector includes a first connector including a first housing, a wire held by the first housing, and a first terminal held by the first housing, including the main body part connected to a conductive wire of the wire and a contact part extending in a first direction; and a second connector including a second housing and a second terminal held by the second housing, including a contact part extending in the first direction, which is mounted on the surface of the circuit board, where the first connector is moved in the first direction with respect to the second connector, and then moved in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction with respect to the second connector to be fitted to the second connector, and the contact part of the first terminal is brought into contact with the contact part of the second terminal, when the first connector is moved in the second direction with respect to the second connector.

Low-height connector for high-speed transmission

A lock lever of a second connector has a first engaged part and a second engaged part. A frame of a first connector has a first engaging part and a second engaging part. The first engaging part is engaged with the first engaged part in a locked state where the lock lever is at a lock position. The lock lever has the elastic part that is elastically deformable in the horizontal direction. The elastic part has a second engaged part and is elastically deformed in the horizontal direction in the locked state to bring the second engaged part into contact with the second engaging part.

An impedance matched circuit board utilizes a series of vias, one signal via that is surrounded by four ground vias in order to effect impedance matching with a coaxial signal transmission line. The vias are plated and extend through the thickness of the circuit board. Both opposing surfaces of the circuit board are provided with a conductive ground layer and each such ground layer has an opening formed there that encompasses one or more of the vias. On the top surface the opening surrounds the signal and ground via and on the bottom surface the opening only partially surrounds the signal via and the opening includes a convex portion formed therein.

Rotary electrical connector comprising a ring-shaped outside terminal having a circular inner circumference portion, a ring-shaped inside terminal having a circular outer circumference portion, which is concentric with the inner circumference portion of the ring-shaped outside terminal; and a rotatable ring-shaped connection terminal electrically connecting the outside terminal with the inside terminal; wherein the connection terminal elastically deforms along a radial direction thereof, an outer circumference portion of the connection terminal abutting the inner circumference portion of the outside terminal and the outer circumference portion of the inside terminal.

Rotary connector

A press fit pin of the present invention has a press-fitted region to be press-fitted and connected to a conductive through hole of a printed circuit board or other circuit substrate. The press-fitted region is formed into substantially an M-shape in cross-section, which has two beam-like regions extending substantially in parallel, and a connection region connecting the beam-like regions in a deformable manner. The connection region is formed into such an arcuate shape in cross-section that an upper surface corresponding to a valley side of the M-shape is a concave surface and an opposite lower surface is a convex surface. A part of the upper surface is partially located on the lower surface side with respect to a straight line L connecting left and right inner side continuous portions where the lower surface of the connection region and inner surfaces of the two beam-like regions are continuous to each other.
