A control device is configured to control a damping force of a damping device using a difference between a front-rear acceleration of a vehicle main body and a rotational acceleration of a vehicle wheel, the damping device being configured to dampen a force generated between the vehicle main body and the vehicle wheel.

A vehicle height adjustment apparatus includes a rear wheel suspension spring that is disposed between a vehicle body and a tire wheel of a vehicle; a rear wheel damper that undergoes an extensional and contractional operation so as to move working oil to dampen vibration of the spring; a support member that supports one end portion of the spring, and moves relative to the damper to change the length of the spring; a jack chamber into which the working oil causing the support member to move relative to the damper flows by the extensional and contractional operation of the damper; a rear wheel electromagnetic valve that adjusts the amount of the working oil flowing into the jack chamber by the degree of opening of the electromagnetic valve; and control device that controls the degree of opening of the electromagnetic valve based on a weight exerted on the vehicle.

Vehicle height adjustment apparatus

Hydraulic shock absorber

In a front fork in a two-wheeled vehicle or motor vehicle, a partition wall member sectioning an oil reservoir chamber into upper end lower sides is provided in an upper portion of a hollow pipe. A center hole and an expansion and compression common flow passage are formed in the partition wall member. The expansion and compression common flow passage is provided with a deflection valve in a state of being supported in an inner periphery, and a check valve in a state of being supported in an outer periphery, in such a manner that an outer periphery of the deflection valve and an inner periphery of the check valve are at least partially overlapped. A first spring supporting the deflection valve in a back surface and a second spring supporting the check valve in a back surface are provided. A small gap is provided in the overlapping portion between the deflection valve and the check valve.
