A closer device includes: a threaded shaft rotating by drive force of a motor; a shaft-like member threadedly engaging with the threaded shaft to transmit decelerated rotation of the threaded shaft and permit displacement in an axial direction between a first axial position and a second axial position; and a restriction member displaced between a first position at which the shaft-like member is displaced from the side of the first axial position to the side of the second axial position by restricting rotation of the shaft-like member that accompanies the rotation of the threaded shaft and a second position at which the displacement of the shaft-like member from the side of the first axial position to the side of the second axial position is restricted by permitting the rotation of the shaft-like member that accompanies the rotation of the threaded shaft.

Closer device and vehicle door locking device

A vehicle door locking apparatus is equipped with a movable wedge, a fixed wedge, and an elastic member. The movable wedge is movable in the open/close direction of the vehicle door towards the vehicle body opening. The elastic member impels the movable wedge toward the fixed wedge. A slanted surface on the movable wedge and a slanted surface on the fixed wedge are configured to come into contact when the door is closed. The movable wedge is assembled on the end surface on the vehicle body opening side along with the base plate of a door lock striker that is assembled on the end surface on the vehicle body opening side. The fixed wedge is immovably assembled on the mounting section of the end surface on the vehicle door side, which is involved in a door lock assembly that is assembled on the end surface on the vehicle door side.

Retaining device for vehicle door

A door lock apparatus includes a latch mechanism having a latch being engagable with a striker and having a pawl stopping a rotation of the latch being engaged with the striker at a half latched position and a fully latched position, a half latch detection portion, a full latch detection portion, a driving portion for rotating the latch being in the half latched position toward the fully latched position, an intermediate position detection portion and a controlling portion for controlling the driving portion to start the driving portion in order to rotate the latch being in the half latched position toward the fully latched position, to stop the drive of the driving portion when the latch is in the fully latched position and to temporally stop the driving portion when the latch is in the intermediate position.

Door lock apparatus

A vehicle door opening/closing device having a latch mechanism, a locking mechanism, an actuator, and a canceling mechanism is provided. The actuator has an electric motor and a pivotable drive lever. The canceling mechanism operates to block transmission of power between the electric motor and the drive lever when manipulation force of a vehicle door handle is transmitted to the canceling mechanism through the locking mechanism. The manipulation force of the door handle is transmitted to the canceling mechanism only when the vehicle door is in an unlocked state.
