An operation device is a stick-type operation device configured to perform a tilt operation, and includes a support plate, a sensor substrate having a first through-hole in a plate thickness direction and supported by a front surface of the support plate, a support columnar member formed of a light-transmitting material and provided to stand up from one surface of the sensor substrate at a position where the first through-hole is blocked, an operation member having light-transmitting property and attached to the support columnar member, and a light source configured to irradiate the support columnar member with light through the first through-hole.

A touch pad includes: a sensor board capable of recognizing a position of manual contact; a housing to which the sensor board is fixed; a base member supporting the housing in a state of being capable of ascending and descending the housing; and a switch depressed when the sensor board is depressed and the housing is moved toward the base member. The touch pad includes first and second pivot shaft sections provided between the base member and the housing and rotatably supporting the housing in a state of being displaceable in a direction toward the base member. The first and second pivot shaft sections are arranged at positions straddling the switch between the two in a direction from one edge of the sensor board to the other edge on the side opposite to the one edge.

The present invention provides an electronic apparatus for reducing the load on mechanism parts and thickness, including a main unit chassis having keytops; a display chassis pivotably connected with the main unit chassis by hinge mechanisms; rubber domes urging the keytops in a direction to cause the keytops to project from an upper surface; an X slider sliding in the main unit chassis in synchronization with the pivoting movements of the main unit chassis and the display chassis; a key depressing mechanism and a link mechanism, causing the keytops to retract from the upper surface when the X slider slides in one direction, and causing the keytops to project from the upper surface when the X slider slides in the opposite direction; and an auxiliary elastic member urging the X slider in a direction to cause the X slider to slide in the one direction.

An electronic apparatus may comprise a casing and a drainage system. The drainage system may be connected with the casing. The drainage system may include a liquid collecting basin, a drainage exit, and a liquid passageway. The liquid passageway may have a capillary surface and may lead the liquid from the liquid collecting basin to the drainage exit.
