It is an object of the present invention to provide a filter which remove acidic gas in the atmosphere with high efficiency and has excellent water resistance. A filter comprising: an aluminium substrate; and an adsorption layer on a surface of the aluminium substrate, wherein the adsorption layer contains activated carbon, a manganese oxide, and an acrylic resin having a pH of 3.0 to 6.5.

An air cleaner for a fuel cell vehicle includes: a case having an inlet and an outlet; and a filter element fixed to the case, the filter element being configured to section the case into an inlet side and an outlet side and filter air flowing from the inlet side to the outlet side. A locking projection projecting toward the inside of the case is provided on the inlet side in the case. A first prefilter, a second prefilter, and a chemical filter are sandwiched between the locking projection and the filter element in the order of the first prefilter, the chemical filter, and the second prefilter from the upstream side as the inlet side of the filter element inside the case toward the downstream side as the outlet side of the filter element inside the case.

Air cleaner for fuel cell vehicle

An air cleaner for a fuel cell system includes a housing, a first filter, and a second filter. The first filter is arranged inside the housing and collects dust contained in air. The second filter is arranged side by side with the first filter in an air flowing direction inside the housing and adsorbs impure gas contained in air. The first filter includes a filtering member, which has nonwoven fabric and filter paper adhered to the nonwoven fabric. The filter paper is located on a downstream side in the air flowing direction of the nonwoven fabric and has a higher packing density than the nonwoven fabric. The second filter includes a base member having a honeycomb structure with through-holes and adsorbent, which is provided on inner surfaces of the through-holes and adsorbs the impure gas.
