A line beam scanning optical system includes: a plurality of laser light sources disposed so as to be aligned in a direction corresponding to a long side of a line beam; an optical deflector; a first cylindrical lens configured to converge laser light from the plurality of laser light sources, into substantially parallel light in a direction perpendicular to an alignment direction in which the laser light sources are aligned, and to cause the laser light to be incident on a mirror; and a second cylindrical lens configured to condense the laser light from the plurality of laser light sources, in the alignment direction in which the laser light sources are aligned, and to cause the laser light to be incident on the mirror. The plurality of laser light sources are disposed at positions shifted from a focal position on the laser light source side of the second cylindrical lens.

Line beam scanning optical system and laser radar

A projection optical system includes: a surface-emitting light source configured to emit light at an intensity in a Gaussian distribution; and an optical element configured to perform uniformization, at least in one direction and in a range of a projection angle, of the intensity of the light emitted from the surface-emitting light source. In the optical element, an incident surface on which the light is incident is sectioned into a plurality of regions having refractive actions different from each other, and among the plurality of regions, at least outermost regions on which outer edge portions, of the light, in the direction in which the uniformization is performed are incident, are planes that are each tilted, from a state of being parallel to a light emitting surface of the surface-emitting light source, to the direction in which the uniformization is performed.

Projection optical system and radar device

Included are: a laser light source which emits a plurality of laser beams; an aspherical lens which the plurality of laser beams emitted from the laser light source enters and which converts the plurality of laser beams into convergent beams; and a phosphor which is irradiated with the convergent beams from the aspherical lens as excitation beams to generate fluorescence, wherein the plurality of laser beams have different spread angles in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction and enter the aspherical lens while arranged in a direction in which the spread angle is smaller, from among the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and the aspherical lens has a function of equalizing a light intensity in a direction in which the spread angle is larger, from among the horizontal direction and the vertical direction.

Light-emitting device and illumination device

A light emission device includes a light source that emits an excitation light beam, a light deflector, a wavelength converter that receives and converts the excitation light beam deflected by the light deflector to wavelength-converted light, and a light concentration section that focuses the excitation light beam on the wavelength converter. The light concentration section includes a first optical system disposed between the light source and the light deflector, and a second optical system disposed between the light deflector and the wavelength converter. In the second optical system, a focal length of an Ay-axis is shorter than a focal length of an Ax-axis, where the Ax-axis is defined as an axis that has a lowest beam parameter product of the excitation light beam, and the Ay-axis is defined as an axis orthogonal to the Ax-axis in a cross section perpendicular to a propagation direction of the excitation light beam.

Light emission device and illumination device

A light emitting device includes a wavelength conversion element, and an excitation light source which radiates excitation light to the wavelength conversion element. The wavelength conversion element includes a support member having a supporting surface, and a wavelength conversion member disposed on the supporting surface so as to be contained within the support member when the support member is viewed from the supporting surface side. An outer peripheral region on the support member, which is an outer peripheral portion of an arrangement region including the wavelength conversion member and is exposed from the wavelength conversion member, includes a light absorbing portion which can absorb first light having same wavelength as the excitation light or a light scattering portion which can scatter the first light. The arrangement region includes a reflective member which is disposed between the wavelength conversion member and the support member, and is different from the support member.

Wavelength conversion element and light emitting device

An optical pickup device includes: a light source; a light receiving sensor, having main tracking light detection faces and sub-tracking light detection faces; and a hologram, having tracking areas that are divided into main tracking areas and sub-tracking areas along division lines in the tangential direction. In the hologram, each of the tracking areas is alternately divided into the main tracking areas and the sub-tracking areas along the division lines in the radial direction, and the same width is employed in the radial direction for the main tracking areas and the sub-tracking areas.
