A speaker has high sound quality by reducing resonance of curved parts in a speaker damper without decreasing sound pressure and by providing high linearity characteristic. In a damper for a speaker formed by including at least two curved parts, an elastic member is provided at least on one side or on both sides of a peripheral part in a movable part of the damper or provided in the material.

Voice coil body of a loudspeaker is provided at the outer circumferential wall surface with a supporting section. Diameter of the inner circumference of suspension holder is greater than outer diameter of the voice coil body while diameter of the inner circumference of diaphragm is greater than diameter of the inner circumference of suspension holder for facilitating a gluing of the inner circumferential end of suspension holder and the inner circumferential end of diaphragm on the supporting section and to the voice coil body. By so doing, harmonic distortion of a loudspeaker can be further reduced.

Loudspeaker

The speaker has a frame, a magnetic circuit, a voice coil body and a diaphragm. The magnetic circuit is disposed inside of the frame to form a magnetic gap. The voice coil body is disposed movably in the magnetic gap. The diaphragm is coupled to the voice coil body by an inner periphery edge thereof and to the frame by an outer periphery edge thereof. The outer peripheral surface of a convex portion provided on a bottom of the frame is at least either being brought into contact with or in proximity to the magnetic circuit. The configuration can provide the speaker with excellent heat dissipation characteristics.

Speaker

An electro-acoustic transducer includes a tone generator, a vibrator, and a case. The tone generator includes a diaphragm, and a voice coil joined to the diaphragm. The vibrator includes a magnetic circuit having a magnetic gap at which the voice coil is positioned, and a suspension made of metal and having a first end joined to the magnetic circuit to suspend the magnetic circuit for allowing the magnetic circuit to vibrate. The case is joined to a periphery of the diaphragm, and includes a metal plate joined to a second end of the suspension. The metal plate is joined to the suspensions reliably, hence allowing the electro-acoustic transducer to be manufactured stably.

Electro-acoustic transducer and method of manufacturing transducer

A mechanical resonance frequency of a vibration section of an electro-acoustic transducer having a vibrating function is measured during an assembly process, and is compared with a predetermined mechanical resonance frequency. Based on a difference obtained by this comparison, a weight to be attached and a position for fixing a vibration section to a frame is determined. In accordance with this determination, the weight for resonance frequency adjustment is attached to the vibration section, or suspension and the frame which have been provisionally fixed are fixed again. Thus, the predetermined mechanical resonance frequency can be obtained steadily. As a result, an electro-acoustic transducer having a vibrating function with stabilized mechanical resonance frequency of the vibration section can be produced.

Electro-acoustic transducer having vibrating function and method of manufacturing the same

A loudspeaker comprising an enclosureprovided with a second diaphragm disposed at an opening, and at least one sound generatorcoupled acoustically with the enclosure. The sound generator is provided with a first diaphragmwherein the second diaphragm has an area greater than an area of the first diaphragm. In the present invention, the shape of the enclosure, and the positioning and shape of the first and the second diaphragms can be designed at a designer's option. Thus a small-sized electronic apparatus can be obtained with a greater designing freedom, while a large-sized diaphragm prevents a decrease of generated sound pressure.
