A tool for supporting mustering in a facility is provided. The tool includes a mobile computing device comprising a display unit, a memory and a processor. The memory has executable instructions of an application stored thereon, which, when executed, cause the processor to communicate with monitoring and control systems of the facility, to conduct a registration of the user of the mobile computing device and to display on the display unit an interface. The interface includes a first interface element by which the user indicates his/her safety level, a second interface element by which the user self-identifies as a mayor and a map. The map includes first information received from the monitoring and control systems, second information relating to predefined static muster points and third information relating to dynamic muster points of users self-identifying as mayors.

Portable computing device assisted mustering

A method of providing a seamless hands-free reader route to a destination includes receiving, at a mobile device, a route from a starting point to the destination, the route including an ordered list of access control devices. An event that triggers a start of the route is detected at the mobile device. The method also includes performing, at the mobile device, for each of the access control devices in an order of the access control devices in the ordered list: scanning for a signal from the access control device; and based on receiving the signal from the access control device, transmitting a message to the access control device, the message including a request to unlock the access control device and a credential that is authorized to unlock the access control device, the credential assigned to a user of the mobile device.

Seamless hands-free reader route to a destination

A system for remote body communication that includes a processor configured to receive a video feed of a person performing a body communication. The processor is configured to determine whether the body communication is indicative of an emergency situation, translate the body communication, to a text or audio communication, and transmit the video feed and the text or audio communication to a receiving monitoring station. The processor then receives a responsive video feed of a responsive body communication and a responsive text or audio communication indicative of an instruction related to the emergency situation, and outputs the responsive video feed of the responsive body communication and the responsive text or audio communication via an operatively connected output processor.
