The host electronic device is coupled to a mini display port (mDP) bus composed of a first lane and a second lane, in which the host electronic device turns off the second lane according to a disable signal in a first communication protocol mode. The first electronic device is coupled to the mDP bus and outputs a detection signal to the host electronic device, in which, when the first electronic device is coupled to the host electronic device, the host electronic device communicates with the first electronic device through the first lane in the first communication protocol mode and communicates with the first electronic device through the second lane in a second communication protocol mode, according to an enable signal.

The electronic device is adapted to be electrically connected to the first connector for providing power to the external module to drive the moving assembly. The second connector is assembled to the moving assembly disposed in the body and electrically connected to the first connector. The method is used for setting a desktop background color of an electronic device such that the desktop background color corresponds to a color of a protective cover, wherein a cover body of the protective cover for covering a touch screen of the electronic device has a conducting area and a non-conducting area. The method includes the following steps: receiving protective cover information generated by the touch screen touching the conducting area; determining whether the protective cover information is in accordance with one of a plurality of preset protective cover information stored in the electronic device; if the protective cover information is in accordance with one of the plurality of preset protective cover information, setting the desktop background color displayed by the touch screen according to color information corresponding to the preset protective cover information.

An electronic device having a fool-proof feature is provided, including a first magnet, an output terminal, a hall sensor and a power supply unit. The first magnet generates a magnetic field. The output terminal is disposed in the range of the magnetic field and is mated with an input terminal of a second electronic device. The hall sensor generates a hall voltage according to the magnetic field. A portable communication apparatus and a method for establishing a wireless connection thereof are provided. The method is adapted to the portable communication apparatus establishing the wireless connection with at least one peripheral apparatus by using a first wireless communication module and a second wireless communication module, in which a signal range of the first wireless communication module is larger than that of the second wireless communication module. In the present method, at least one peripheral apparatus located within the signal range of the first wireless communication module is searched by using the first wireless communication module, and a first wireless connection with the searched peripheral apparatus is established. Next, state information of a corresponding second wireless communication on each peripheral apparatus is obtained through the first wireless connection. Then, a second wireless connection with the at least one apparatus is established by using the second wireless communication module.

An electronic system is provided, including electronic devices, power supplies and a control module. The electronic devices each have male and female connectors, wherein the male connectors are mated with the female connectors, such that the electronic devices are overlapped in a direction and electrically connected to each other. The power supplies each are connected to one of the electronic devices, respectively, for providing power to the electronic devices. The control module has first and second modes to control the male and female connectors, wherein, in the first mode, a first electronic device of the electronic devices, which is not connected to either one of the power supplies, receives power through a first female connector of the first electronic device, and outputs power to another electronic device of the electronic devices through the first male connector.

A device and a method for adjusting power consumption are provided. The method is adapted for adjusting power consumption of an external graphic processing unit (GPU) according to different voltage sources and includes following steps: determining whether power to the external GPU is supplied by a first voltage source or a second voltage source according to a comparison result of an input voltage of the external GPU and a default reference voltage. If the input voltage is higher than or equal to the default reference voltage, power to the external GPU is supplied by the first voltage source, and the external GPU is controlled to remain in a normal speed operation status. If the input voltage is lower than the default reference voltage, power to the external GPU is supplied by the second voltage source, and the external GPU is controlled to remain in a low speed operation status.

An electronic device includes a first body, a second body, a hinge structure and a control unit. The hinge structure includes a first pivot component fixed on the first body, a second pivot component fixed on the second body and pivoted to the first pivot component, a first connecting component fixed on the first pivot component, and a torsion adjusting assembly movably disposed at the second body. The control unit receives a command to control the torsion adjusting assembly to move. When the torsion adjusting assembly is moved to a first position, the first connecting component and the torsion adjusting assembly are separated from each other, and the hinge structure has a first torsion. When the torsion adjusting assembly is moved to a second position, the first connecting component is connected to the torsion adjusting assembly, and the hinge structure has a second torsion larger than the first torsion.

An electronic device includes a first body, a second body and a hinge structure. The hinge structure includes a first pivot component, a second pivot component, a first connecting component and a torsion adjusting assembly. The first pivot component is fixed on the first body. The second pivot component is fixed on the second body and pivoted to the first pivot component. The first connecting component is fixed on the first pivot component. The torsion adjusting assembly is movably disposed at the second body. When the torsion adjusting assembly is moved to a first position, the first connecting component and the torsion adjusting assembly are separated and the hinge structure has a first torsion. When the torsion adjusting assembly is moved to a second position, the first connecting component is connected to the torsion adjusting assembly and the hinge structure has a second torsion larger than the first torsion.

An expansion module is configured to provide expansion functions to a mobile electronic device. The expansion module includes a cloud device and at least one first expansion device. The cloud device includes a first expansion bus interface and a network interface. The first expansion device is coupled to the cloud device in a daisy-chain manner, wherein each of the first expansion device includes at least one first peripheral device. The cloud device is coupled to the mobile electronic device through the first expansion bus interface or the network interface, and provides the first peripheral device to the mobile electronic device for use.

A management method is provided, suitable for an electronic system having electronic devices connected in a daisy-chain configuration. The management method comprises the steps of: the electronic devices are sequentially connected with a host, thereby obtaining universal unique identifiers corresponding to the electronic devices; serial numbers corresponding to the electronic devices are generated according to a first order of obtainment of the universal unique identifiers of the electronic devices; and the host communicates with the electronic devices according to the serial numbers.
