Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for radio channel pattern matching. One method may include receiving, at an antenna panel, at least two configured transmission configuration indicator states for simultaneous multiple input multiple output reception; for each of the at least two configured transmission configuration indicator states for simultaneous reception from one or more transmission reception points, sweeping at least one narrow beam receiving one or more repeated reference signals received from the one or more transmission reception points; and, based upon at least one spatial radio multipath channel characteristic of the one or more repeated reference signals carrying each transmission configuration indicator state, selecting at least one antenna element of the antenna panel to form a group of antenna elements and control the group of antenna elements to direct at least one beam.

A method, apparatus and computer program is described comprising: receiving a first transmission from an antenna, the first transmission comprising a first carrier including a first signal and a second carrier including a second signal, wherein the first and second carriers are separated in frequency within a first operational band; splitting the first transmission into a first channel and a second channel; downconverting the first channel to centre the first carrier at a baseband frequency to extract the first signal; downconverting the second channel to centre the second carrier at the baseband frequency to extract the second signal; and providing the first signal to a first processor and the second signal to a second processor; wherein the first and second processors are associated with first and second subscriber identity modules respectively.

Apparatus and method for sensing and communications

An apparatus such as a user equipment configured to support an irregular bandwidth signal. The apparatus comprising multiple means for frequency translating a wireless communication signal in a frequency bandwidth that is different to a predefined bandwidth and for filtering said frequency translated wireless communication signals. Means for adjusting a centre frequency used by the multiple means for frequency translating; and control means. The control means being responsive to receipt of a signal indicating a wireless communication network is currently supporting an irregular channel bandwidth, said irregular channel bandwidth covering two partially overlapping regular channel bandwidths each having said predefined bandwidth, to route a received wireless communication signal to each of the multiple means for frequency translating and to control the means for adjusting to set a respective centre frequency of the multiple means for frequency translating such that said centre frequency of each of the multiple means for frequency translating is offset with respect to each other.

Multiple antenna arrangements

An apparatus comprising includes first and second radio frequency circuitry configured for operation at least in one or more first and second radio frequency bands, respectively; and first and second antenna arrangements configured for operation in the one or more first and second radio frequency bands, respectively. The apparatus also includes first and second radio frequency coupling for transferring of a signal between the first and second antenna arrangements, respectively, and the first and second radio frequency circuitry, respectively. The apparatus further includes a controller for assessing whether a signal can be transferred between the second antenna arrangement and the first radio frequency circuitry and, in dependence upon the assessment, for transferring the signal therebetween, via a frequency converter configured to enable, for the signal, frequency conversion between the one or more second radio frequency bands and the one or more first radio frequency bands.

Circuitry comprising: a first radio path comprising a first filter configured for a first radio access technology (RAT) system; a second radio path comprising a second filter configured for a second radio access technology (RAT) system different to the first RAT system; means for obtaining a first indicator, dependent on the first RAT system, wherein the first indicator is one of a predetermined number of states; means for obtaining a second indicator, dependent on the second RAT system wherein the second indicator is one of a predetermined number of states; and means for using a combination of the states of the first indicator and the second indicator to control characteristics of at least the first filter.

Filtration for radio access technologies

A method comprising securing orientation of a first type of an antenna and a second type of an antenna, wherein the first type of an antenna and the second type of an antenna are comprised in a terminal device, determining if the terminal device is radio resource control connected to a cell provided by an access node comprised, at least partly, in a satellite or relayed through the satellite, and if it is, estimating a link loss based, at least partly, on downlink receive measurements obtained using the first type of an antenna, determining an uplink link budget based on the estimated link loss, determining if the uplink link budget is greater than a threshold for a transmit antenna, wherein the transmit antenna is the first type of the antenna or the second type of an antenna, and attempting a transmission to the access node using the transmit antenna if the uplink link budget is greater than the threshold for the transmission antenna.

In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, a method comprising: receiving from a network node, by a user equipment of a plurality of user equipment associated with more than one communication beam of a communication network, information comprising locations in time of the user equipment during paging occasions with at least one cell of the communication network associated over more than one communication beam, wherein the information identifies any provided order of the more than one communication beam covering the locations in time of the user equipment during the paging occasions; and based on the information, identifying by the user equipment at least one communication beam and timing of at least one paging occasion, of the paging occasions, for the user equipment.

A method comprises: determining, from an indication that an initial uplink beam between a user equipment and a network node is misaligned with respect to a downlink beam between the network node and the user equipment, at least one misalignment angle between the initial uplink beam and the downlink beam; and reconfiguring the uplink beam based on the misalignment angle to produce a reconfigured uplink beam.
