To reduce the magnetic flux leakage through the gap between magnetic pole teeth of an armature so as to reduce the magnetic attraction force generated between the armature and a needle, an armature unit is provided with two magnetic poles, on the top of which are magnetic pole teeth protruding toward the opposing magnetic pole, where the magnetic pole teeth of the magnetic pole are arranged at two heights, upper and lower, and the magnetic pole teeth of the opposing magnetic pole are arranged at two heights, upper and lower, so that the magnetic flux flows upward and downward alternately between the upper and lower magnetic pole teeth. The needle equipped with permanent magnets moves relatively in the gap between the upper and lower magnetic pole surfaces of the armature unit.

Linear motor and manufacturing method thereof

A dynamo-electric machine has a stator with a primary winding and a rotor with a field magnet and a shaft. the field magnet includes a first field magnet having diferent polarity magnetic poles sequentially arranged in a rotation direction and a second field magnet having diferent polarity magnetic poles sequentially arranged in a rotation direction. The machine further has a mechanism for shifting the first and the second field magnets in axial and rotation directions.

Dynamo-electric machine having a rotor with first and second axially or rotationally displaceable field magnets

A hybrid drive type vehicle having a permanent magnet type synchronous motor can provide high torque characteristics in low revolution speed range of the engine and high power generation characteristics at high revolution speed range of the engine. The hybrid drive type vehicle includes an electric rotary machine being formed with a stator and a rotor. A field magnet of the rotor include a first field magnet and a second field magnet. The first and second field magnets are opposing with a magnetic pole of the stator and having a mechanism for varying a phase of a magnetic pole resulting from combination of the first and second field magnets relative to the magnetic pole of the first field magnet depending upon direction of a torque of the rotor.

In a joint driving apparatus, a linear motor includes at least one stator part, a movable element, and an electromagentic coil device for energizing the stator part to generate a magnetic field, the stator part includes pairs of magnetic poles, the pairs are adjacent to each other in each of the stator parts, the magnetic poles of each of the pairs face to each other through the movable element to generate a magnetic field passing the magnetic poles through the movable element, and a magnetic polar direction of one of the at least two pairs is opposite to that of another one of the at least two pairs when the stator part is magnetized.

An XY-axes table having a base, a plurality of linear guiding apparatuses, a stage, an X-axis drive linear motor and a Y-axis drive linear motor. The linear motor include an armature and a movable element relatively movable with respect to the armature. The first magnetic pole and the second magnetic pole collectively include a first opposed part which defines a first gap, and a second opposed part which defines a second gap. The part having magnetism is disposed in the first gap and the second gap. The door system may be used in the car of an elevator system.

A linear motor includes a first member and a second member. Linear motor, driving and control system thereof and manufacturing method thereof

In a linear motor comprising, a stator, a movable element, and an electromagnetic coil device for magnetizing the movable element or stator, the stator includes at least one pair of magnetic core parts, and at least two pairs of magnetic poles, the magnetic poles of each of the at least two pairs are aligned on an imaginary line perpendicular to the movable direction, magnetic polar directions of the at least two pairs adjacent to each other are opposite to each other, first one of the magnetic poles of each of the at least two pairs faces to a first side surface of the movable element, and second one of the magnetic poles of each of the at least two pairs faces to a second side surface of the movable element opposite to the first side surface in a traverse direction perpendicular to the movable direction.

Linear motor

A linear motor and a method of producing the linear motor are provided to reduce a leak magnetic flux flowing between an armature and a moving element to reduce a one-direction magnetic attraction force generated between the armature and the moving element. The linear motor includes the armature having a core formed of a magnetic body and a winding wound around the core, and the moving element supported so as for the moving element to move relatively to the armature via a gap, magnetic pole teeth disposed above and below the moving element, disposed at predetermined pitches along a moving direction of the moving element and disposed opposite to each other via the moving element, and a winding for exciting the magnetic pole teeth such that adjacent and opposite magnetic pole teeth have different magnetic poles, and the moving element is reciprocated relatively to the armature by exciting the winding according to a predetermined control circuit.

Linear motor and method of producing the same

There is provided a linear motor, having an armature and a needle with magnetism, in which the armature has at least a magnetic pole of a first polarity having a first opposed part and another magnetic pole of a second polarity having a second opposed part; the needle is held by the first opposed part, and is further held by the second opposed part; and a distribution of magnetism of the needle according to a position in the movable direction thereof. In this way, a leak of a magnetic flux from pole teeth passing between the pole teeth of the armature is decreased to increase a thrust and braking force of the needle, which is thereby enabled to generate a greater or smaller thrust in a specific section or sections than the thrust during usual linear movement.

A door system, which uses a linear motor, has a door hanger from which a door is movably suspended, an electric motor for generating a thrust to open and close the door, and a link mechanism made of a non-magnetic material for transmitting the thrust generated by the motor to the door. The linear motor has an armature to serve as a mover runner and a stator having magnetism. The armature has at least a magnetic pole of a first polarity having a first opposed part and another magnetic pole of a second polarity having a second opposed part. The stator is held by the second opposed part.
